"Melissa Ann Friedrich (a.k.a., Millie Weeks), 77, was arrested by the Cape Breton Regional Police in Nova Scotia on October 1, 2012 in connection with the suspicious illness of her husband. According to news reports, she and her husband checked into a bed and breakfast September 28, 2012. That next morning, Friedrich came downstairs alone because she said her husband was ill. He was taken to the hospital were doctors called police because of the suspicious nature of his illness. No further details have been released yet. Friedrich’s criminal history includes fraud and manslaughter. In 2005, she was sentenced to five years in prison for stealing $20,000 from a Florida man she met online. And in 1991, she drugged and ran over her then husband, Gordon Stewart, twice with a car. She was convicted in 2001 of manslaughter for his death but served only two years of a six-year sentence."
