PRAYERS HAS NOT SOLVED OUR WATER AND ELECTRICITY PROBLEMS. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE BENEFITTED FROM THE PRAYERS, FASTING, TITHES AND PRAISES, ARE THE PASTORS AND THE SO-CALLED MEN OF GOD. THEY GET RICHER AND FATTER. THEY ENCOURAGE US TO PAY TITHES AND PRAY. .

I think you really need help; may be to have Pastor Eastwood to lay his hands on you to comprehend simple things because you did not understand his treatise, else how would you start yours with 3 paragraphs talking about how earlier people thought Christianity will "die," as if the writer in his piece was against the Jesus and Christians?
The said article was an answer to to Pastor Eastwood's message to his people to shun away from "idolizing" so called "Men of God" in the wake of what happened at TB Joshua's church. In the writer's message, he said that if anything could be done about that problem, it has to start from the men of God who have put themselves on a pedestal that make it difficult for the average Christian to question the acts or deeds of the powerful men. Even though, his pieces seemed so long, the thrust of the message was simple. And more or less when they are telling their people "not to touch God's anointed."
In his article, he talked about how the gospel has been changed upside down by the Men of God. Where instead of attending to the need, poor and sick, the Men of God are rather the ones being attended to... they are living in Mansions while the followers are living in abject poverty. With such a dichotomy between the so called Men of God and the followers, how is it possible for the followers to stop "idolizing" the Priests or Pastors. That was all his message.
In fact, this shows that you did not follow Eastwood's advice to stop "idolizing" men of God and also prove that the writer was right in his assessment that people like you will continue to worship the pastors till thy kingdom come.

About 15 yrs ago, somewhere in the States I met Eastwood and bought his then new-released book "Elevated beyond human law." He autographed that book with "PRESS ON." I still have that book somewhere. I am telling this story to let the author know that I am a Christian and have nothing against Eastwood or Christians and their Bible. I feel sick to the stomach when you can't have a decent and intelligent dialogue with our so called brothers and sisters in Christ without them accusing you to be on the devil's side.
Mahatma Ghandi admonished us to "live as if we were to die today, but to LEARN as if we were to live forever." Unfortunately, it looks like when people become Christians or born-again they refuse to learn. I say this because the only way you can LEARN is to ask QUESTIONS, and since Christian are more less asked not to ask (challenge) the so called Men of God, how do they learn or develop their minds?
Look, a child has the right to ask his parents some questions to guide him to live right. A student has the right to ask his teacher or lecturer some questions to be able to pass his exams well. A wife or husband has the right to ask some questions to bring understanding in the home. A medical intern has the right to ask his attendant some questions to be able to correctly diagnose and treat his patient. A secretary has the right to his Boss some questions to know what to write so as to make the company productive. That is how we learn something and develop to make the world a better place for all of us. UNFORTUNATELY, in our time, a Christian has no right to ask pastors or priests on what they preached. The only time they meet the big men of God is to seek prayers and prophecies but not to question or ask them about something they preached on. To do that is being rebellious in the sight of the men of God or his followers. But how would you feel if as a student you can't ask questions about what your teacher taught you in class? This is where the problem begins that has made Men of God "gods" and followers idolizing them.
For those don't understand what I am saying- Men of God preaches only on Sundays and sometimes Wednesdays and there is no time for questions and answers. This is done in their Sunday Schools by people like this writer- Kaba. And most of the time, the subjects for the Sunday School is not about what the Pastor preached on previous days or so. Even if it was on what the pastor preached on, the Sunday School teacher is not going to deviate from what the pastors said. Every reference would be - "Pastors said this..and that.."
Kwame, the Bible says "For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God's household." so you were right in your assessment; if anything can be done, it has to start from the Men of God and let it become a "domino effect" that would bring change in the lives of their followers.

I beg to inform you that according to Acts chapter 6 1Timothy chapter 5, Ephesians chapter 6, etc. schools and hospitals are the main focus of the church. Remember also that the apostle Paul was also a tent maker, and the apostle Peter a fisherman.

1 Peter 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
Peter said the inheritance is reserved in heaven, Christians need to go to heaven to collect their inheritance.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are:immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
The apostle Paul was addressing the Galatian Christians when he said, "You will not inherit the kingdom of God."
