    To educate you, Asante is not a Ga name. K.B Asante's father is from one of the Twi-speaking tribes.His mother is a Ga woman.He chose to go with his mother's side as to which tribe he belongs to.Now you know the story.

    I DON'T GET THE POINT OF THE GA MEMORIAL DAY. THE GA'S ARE PROUD THAT THEY ARE FROM THE CITY, SO WHY ARE THEY CRYING. DR. KWAME NKRUMAH TURNED 500 VILLAGES TO THE CITY OF TEMA; I WISH NKRUMAH COULD HAVE DONE THAT IN NZEMA.

    Both you Henry are right on this teaching of GA IN SCHOOLS. I was in a Ghanaian "ashanti"shop in PECKHAM when one employee told the other the boss said no one must speak GA in there.

    Sadly most Ga chiefs did not think about future generations before selling the lands. Unfortunately the Ga language has declined with the dominance of Twi and this trend will be difficult to reverse.

    It is never too late to start to rebuild the Ga State, culture and language. Yes, the Ga language must be used in schools like in other parts of Ghana. Wake up, my people !
