If assuming Kofi Menu`s school certificates are missing he knows where to get a replacement from,(his former schools).
The inability of Akufo Addo to get all that to prove Justice Kpegah wrong,makes Kpegah`s case stronger and many Ghanaians are eager to find out why Akufo Addo is refusing to come forward.
Right now,Akufo Addo cannot even sue Justice Kpegah for defamation of character on a serious allegation as this because he simply asked the court to throw out the case.Any legal action against Kpegah from Akufo Addo will restart the case and Addo don`t want that to happen.

Akufo-Addo dares not counter-sue Kpegah because he is afraid of the skeletons that will drop from the "chop box". The thing is that, Akufo-Addo may not have killed anybody. He may not be impersonating someone else. But there is still something that is not all that clean about the manner in which he was called to the bar in Ghana. It may have something to do with his privileged status. That is why people are bringing this thing of aristocracy in. There is nothing wrong with Akufo being the son of rich parents. But there is something wrong, very very wrong, if he uses that as a short cut to some favourable position. Nobody will condone that, not even his most vociferous party supporters. Right now, most Ghanaians don't know the real truth about Akufo-Addo. He is the only one who can tell us and show us proof that he is the one he really is. He does not even need to counter-sue Kpegah to do this. He can do it himself and we shall all support him and take his side against Kpegah.
How can it be sooo difficult just to show that you truly qualified as a bona fide lawyer? How can that be so difficult???

In fact at the age of 17 he was at Prempeh College where he was sacked and ended up in Accra Academy. With Kofi Asante’s truancy and illicit drug taking his parents took him away to New York. This is where he used his father’s Law degree to gained admission to New York State University. He then managed to pay this white girl friend to write his MA in law exams for him. After qualifying, Kofi Asante did not have the guts to apply to New York Bar Association for his exams. But Akufo-Addo is a public figure which means he has a case to prove to the public. This one is a moral one. He has to assure the public that he is the one he really has been. No legal technicalities will be involved this but a simple declaration of his status that convinces the public. He's not obliged to do so but if he doesn't, he shouldn't blame the public for wanting to believe in the rumours.

For example, you may be watching a football match and unless you are a die-hard supporter will unconsciously develop a desire for one of the teams to emerge victorious. The same goes with television court dramas. So one can understand where Charles Kwame Phebih-Agyekum is coming from (I am not referring to his hometown but his sentiments, by the way).
Some of us may have wrongly comprehended the crux of Justice Kpegah's suit as that, Nana Akkuffo-Addo and William Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo are/could be one and the same person but the name that was admitted to the bar was the latter whilst the former is the one practicing which is a poser. At the end of the day and any deliberations, which name -inter alia- signature is appended to a document to give it validity and clothe it in legality?.
Since he was thrust into Ghana's political milieu, I bet most people were only conversant with the name Nana Akuffo-Addo. What some people fail to understand (as some will retort, WHAT IS IN A NAME)is that,except in dysfunctional societies, names are not mere appendages to ourselves. Names provide means of identification, recognition and accountability.Even in families where two persons bear identical names, there is a suffix or postfix after the names, e.g. Kofi Atta Jnr. or Kofi Atta Snr. Names are not assumed willy-nilly or when it suits ones whims and caprices.
Some of the assertions in your write-up have not been articulated by Justice Kpegah so it wouldn't be out of place to surmise they are conclusions driven by your leanings/ sentiments. The sad aspect of such articles is that, they keep on muddying the political landscape, by inflaming the gullible and easily impressionable to make the crazy pronouncements that have become the hallmark of Ghanaweb. It is the wild "talks" the fringe lunatics, nurtured by rabble rousing articles such as yours that give outsider the impression that Ghana is on the skid.

Not long a ago a man was arrested for being a faked doctor at Korlebu Hospital for years.
Today a young man is being chased for impersonating as an immigration or custom officer. Two months ago 19 people faked Cape Coast University graduate certificates in Brong Ahafo and applied for job as Teachers only to be caught because they did poorly in their entry examination.
Let the real Akufo Addo please stand up to speak for himself and NOT you the "armchair lawyers".
