IF, HOWEVER, HE EVADED TAXES, WHILE POOR PEOPLE LIKE TEACHERS AND LABORERS PAID TAXES, THEN IT IS RIGHT TO CONFISTICATED HIS ASSETS.
IN THE USA AND OTHER DEVELOPED NATIONS, IF YOU EVADE TAXES, YOU ARE MADE TO PAY THE TAXES, WITH INTEREST AND PENALTIES. YOU MIGHT ALSO END UP IN JAIL.
MANY WEALTHY BUSINESS PEOPLE IN GHANA DO NOT PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE OF TAXES. THEY JUST PAY WHATEVER THEY WANT BUT WHEN THEIR ASSETS ARE CHECKED, IT COMES TO LIGHT THAT THEY UNDER-REPORT THEIR PROFITS. SO THE ASSETS THEY ACCUMULATE ARE FROM THE TAXES THAT BELONG TO THE STATE.
I WISH HIS CHILDREN WELL IN THIS PURSUIT.

When Mr.Siaw Somebody from a little known town called Kwasiho in the Eastern region, a man with no flashy letters after his name could sit down with the powers that be at the Mighty Pilsner Brewers and Financiers of Holland to broker a deal to build such a gigantic brewery in Achimota-Accra,the largest Brewery in West Africa and to be forfeited to the State by an envious bastered who couldn't even afford a plate of "yo ke gari"at that time but now owns ,Palatial buildings and now drives Rolls Royce on these tattered Ghanaian streets, what a shame.What did rawlings do to Mark Cofie?because Mark Cofie wasn't different from the trumped up charges rawlings accused the other industialists of.Or is it because Mark Cofie is from Volta Region and at the sametime his daughter became rawlings girl friend .How many Ghanaians own factories now in the country.Most of these factories in Ghana are owned by people who don't have the interest of the country at heart ie Lebanese and Chinese and these pseudo industrialists are only after profits because they know what can happen to them in future by looking back at the stupid Ghanaian revolution.How can a sitting Head of State incite the populace not to buy Apino Soap because the manufacturer belongs Opposition Party. Ghana we need divine intervention!
