What he did not know - aside from the recent report that Brazil is asking for 6,000 Cuban medical doctors to help beef up their healthcare system - is that, our own Kofi Annan and a former World Bank president - have all praised the Cuban healthcare system, which includes their world recognized doctors.
Folks,read yours truly's comment on Tawia's post on Ghanaweb(Archives News)May 5,2013.

I don’t have a problem with doctors trained in other countries including Ghanaian doctors trained outside who want to return home. The problem I have is why we don’t require these doctors to be Ghana board certified before they start treating patients? I have heard some ridiculous stories of nurses, pharmacists and others with limited medical training coming to Ghana and practicing as doctors because the control is lax. To ensure that we get the best doctors, we need to require that all foreign trained doctors are board certified.
It is even troubling if these doctors are being sent to the rural areas because it is harder to monitor and keep data on doctors and medical personnel in the rural areas. In addition the language barrier may be a problem without good translators which I doubt may be available.
Ghanaian doctors are very good, understand the culture and their patients -- giving the right tools, incentives and compensation I think the government could get more benefit overall from them than any that they bring from outside.

Good article Ano Nimo. Articles like this give some of hope that the educated Ghanaian is finally becoming properly educated.
The anti-socialist education and propaganda which was aimed at keeping us stupid and under-developed, is responsible for this short-coming.
Today thanks to the internet, we can all get first-hand information to critical situations on the ground around the world. And we should all now use this medium of the internet day and night to by-pass the BBC, CNN, Al-Jazeera and the rest of the omni-present fraudulent imperialist propaganda machine that seeks to keep us in darkness so that they can continue to rip us off.
Had it not been so, that imperialist rodent Tawiah, would have diverted the good senses of many Ghanaians into the ditch with his satanic and shameless made-in-Europe cheap misinformation.

The Ghanaman, in spite of his misery and wretchedness, thinks of himself as above anyone who received training in socialist and formerly-socialist countries. If one was not schooled in an Anglo-Saxon country (Britain, US, Germany) the ignorant Ghanaman has no regard for such an individual. Ghanaman, recognise your misery first and get rid of your supposed superiority.

Francis Tawiah must know that even Prof. Frimpong Boateng was discriminated against by his fellow rightist doctors, most of whom are members of the New Patriotic Party. Prof. Frimpong Boateng was trained in Western Germany, but it was his colleagues from former socialist countries that gave him support to establish the Cardiological Centre at Korle Bu. It is on record that it was the Soviet Trained Ghanaian Graduates Association that provided the forum for Prof. Frempong Boateng to speak on the issue of cardiology in Ghana. He was given financial and logistic support by former President Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
We stated the other day that even the United States of America trains most of her postgraduate students in Cuba, and Cuba has the best psychiatric hospital in the world.
People do make noise, but it is said that the best of beads does not make noise, so is the case of Eastern and Cuban trained graduates. It is on record that most of the big private hospitals in Ghana belong to Soviet and Eastern German trained doctors. Not to blow our own horns but I beg to state that we are the best of the human resources that this country has and when it comes to the issue of patriotism we come first.

I can verify this after I read his articles and compared them with the originals from German newspapers.

Why are we black people so vulnerable the western propaganda? We still trust more those who enslaved us,colonized us,those who are looting our wealth than those who are really hepling us and want us to develop.
NPP must put an end to their hypocricy and irresponsible behavior and give time to the elected President and his gov't to work for Ghana.
