As much as yours truly supports fair wages for Ghanaian workers, when it comes to the health of average Ghanaians - Kofi and Ama,whose labor, sweat, tears and taxes paid for the doctors'education - there's an unequivocal support for K&A.
Ahoofe lives in the Bronx and should know that medical students in the U.S borrow money(median debt in 2012 was $170,0000)guaranteed by Uncle Sam(Student Loans) for their education - and are expected to pay back soon after graduation. These American doctors do not receive auto loans or allowances for accommodation from the government.Yet,unlike their Ghanaian counterparts, they do not go on strike.
Cuban doctors have been working in Ghana from the halcyon days of Nkrumah,to the present. So,where does Ahoofe's crap about the language fit in?
GMA bit more than they can chew and are losing support from the public.Mahama should give them an ultimatum to go back to work(while their grievances are being worked out)or be fired. The doctors are not indispendable. As it is happening, they can be replaced.

the Fantis were mislead into believing ndc meant well and would continue the path of honesty and integrity set by mills . slowly eyes have been opened to see the reality of this hegemonic ayigbe selfish incompetent corrupt govt. from now on it will be each his own and ndc will never carry the day again in any of the Akan territories , only ppp cpp or npp will pass. the demographics of the country have changed and now the Fantis speaking people of western and central regions have the numbers to form their own state if pushed into war by these wish to dominate and buga buga oppress ewe led govt. it is not enough that they killed mills now they push further to put the people into poverty and misery hoping to break the spirit of the people as they have been trying to do since before kotoka. first it was the brain drain that took most of the intellectuals away to serve some pointless civil service that ignored their own people instead of decentralization, then the schools were opened to all except those that built and nurtured them in the first place. then came the period of deny any gainful employment so they were forced to emigrate to other lands. then all projects and industry that made logical sense including sustainability were placed elsewhere or not even processed. so today even the tradition industry the ordinary man could do to scratch a living are purposely being neglected or destroyed such as the fishing industry and the farming. we see all and say no more , long live the republic of Akan

What has Ghana done to deserve a man bankrupt of ideas such as John Mahama to rule our beloved country? Of course the man used fraud to come to power so what do you expect? There had been revered and respected, honest, and trustworthy Notherners in Ghana politics before. Great names like S.D Dombo, Jato Kaleo, Yakubu Alhassan, Alhaji Yakubo Tale, Alhaji Imoro Egala, Dr. Hilla Limann all come up. But now sadly we are saddled with thieves, liars and dishonest people like John Mahama and his NDC, how do you expect Ghana to progress and eradicate poverty?

An old Jewish fellow wins 1.5 million on the lottery. He is being interviewed on TV, when he asked what he plans to do with the money.
"Well," he says, "Half a million I'm going to give to my synagogue as it needs some work doing to it!"
The interviewer asks, "What about the rest?"
The old Jew says, "Another half a million I'm going to give to a local Jewish summer camp, so the kids can have a nice place to stay in the summer."
The interviewer asks, "Great! And what about the rest?"
"Oh, I'm going to give that to the nazi party!" he replied.
"What? Why would a Jew give money to the nazi party?"
The old Jew rolled up his sleeve, points to a tattoo and say's, "They are the ones that gave me my lucky number!
