My friend stick to law. In finance there is something called risk. If I invest money I want conditions that will allow me to make money. The Petitions creates an atmosphere of UNCERTAINTY . Will there be a new government soon? Will I then have to renegotiate a deal. that makes for a wait and see attitude. That is why it affects investment

Good governace is a crucial investment! Sound governance is a precedent to economic investment. Please stick to logic because you have just displayed a very profound lack of it. Talking about economic investment and not knowing the pre-conditions for it is not smart. Just do a little bit more research prior to commenting since the writer clearly made a point that we can all learn from.

What are trying to say here? That the NPP shouldn't have appealed the EC's verdict!

The election petition is the best thing that ever happened to Ghana's political and electoral/democratic systems. It's a landmark case and like it or not it has placed our democracy in the center stage of Africa and the world. We're already a few notches up on the democracy ladder for this trailblazing event.
Nana Akuffo Addo made it clear from the onset that no matter which way the Supreme Court verdict goes he'll accept it in good faith. This is translucent patriotism that never fails. On the other hand I'm not so sure about my friends from the other side of the political divide, the NDC. Bellicose and violence prone NDC are yet to revoke their life long membership of the global industry of outrage. If Mahama and his party followership can commit themselves to respect the verdict of the highest court of arbitration in the land then it's going to be a winning bonanza for everyone. If I have to err I'll err on the side of magnanimity and say the leopard will change its spots at least just for once and for what it means to all of us, ghanaians, africans, the human race, peace, progress, development, growth, democracy, equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity.
The key to anarchy/peace is in the hands of the NDC and whichever direction they turn it will determine whether Ghana collapses or stands.Long live Ghana. Long live Democracy.
