If NPP should win this election case, Afari Gyan will step aside and the Supreme Court will nominate someone to organise a run-off, if possible.
It is a shame for people to always want things be no matter how they are looking! Elections have to be credible! The electoral commissioner cannot take sides to take away the civil rights of the people.
Now Government is complaining of cash. How much is the government going to waste on the extra new MPs created by Afari Gyan last year when people were clamouring for a stop or suspension until after the elections? The reason for opposition was the nearness of the elections and the costs the Parties were going to incur. The President did not think of the immediate cost to the nation!
Now, six months after, we cannot pay public sector workers, no money for contingency expenditure! Are our leaders BRAINLESS? No, they are selfish and greedy.

Yes they are. Most of them; BRAINLESS, selfish and greedy.

The unintelligent effusion from the first comment on this thread which is replicated on some of the articles on ghanaweb today tell us of the caliber of contributers on this forum.Instead of informed analysis and healthy debate some people have have made this exercise confrontational and the calling of all sort of names against opponents they disagree with. Some of these notorious contributers lacks the etiquette of public discourse and debate. The unfortunate thing of it all is that,it is putting off an otherwise reasonable contributers from participating on the forum. It is understandable why these informed Ghanaians avoid the forum because these gangs would not only insult if they disagree with you but call you all sort of names in a most vulgar way. I think your ngo should educate people to be civil and decorous in order that we all have respect for each other.

THE PETITION IS NOT A BOTHER. THE NDC HAS NO GOODWILL IN BUSINESS CIRCLES AND THAT IS THE TRUTH. THE KEY BUSINESSMEN ARE NPP AND WILL REMAIN NPP BECAUSE EVEN WHEN YOU GIVE THE NDC ALL THE BUSINESSES IN GHANA THEY WILL RUN GHANA TO A HALT INCLUDING MAHAMA AND THE AHWOIS. THE NDC ONLY CAME TO STEAL, CONFUSE AND DESTROY.

IT WILL INTEREST ME TO KNOW AND FOR THE INFORMATION OF THE 99% of GHANAIANS, WHAT ARE EMBODIED IN THE CONSTITUTION OF GHANA ON NATIONAL ELECTIONS.
IN THE US OF 2000, AL GORE CHALLENGED THE NATIONAL ELECTIONS AND OF RECENT DATE IN KENYA.
THE SUPREME COURTS OF THESE TWO COUNTRIES DELIBERATED ON THE PETITIONS IN TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE INAUGURATION OF THE ELECTED PRESIDENTS.
US HAS A POPULATION OF THREE HUNDRED MIILLION (300) MILLION WITH NINE SUPREME COURT JUDGES.
KENYA HAS A POPULATION OF FORTY THREE(43)MILLION WITH FIVE SUPREME COURT JUDGES.
GHANA WITH A POPULATION TWNTY TWO (22) MILLION WITH NINE JUDGES AND YET THE DESTINY OF GHANA CONTINUES TO HANG IN THE BALANCE.
WHERE ARE WE AND WHERE ARE WE GOING
IN THE CASE OF GHANA, WHY DID INAUGURATION TSAKE PLACE BEFORE DELIBERATION ON AKUFFO-ADDO'S PETITION CHALLENGING THE ELECTION RESULTS OF 2012.
LASTLY, HOW COME SHOULD THE ELECTED PRESIDENT OF GHANA AND NDC BE DRAGGED TO THE SUPREME COURT TO ANSWER TO THE ELECTION RESULTS.
DID PRESIDENT MAHAMA AND NDC ORGANISE THE 2012.
IT WAS THE ELECTORIAL COMMISSION THAT CONDUCTED THE NATIONAL ELECTION, AND ONE CONTINUES TO WONDER WHY THE ELECTORIAL COMMISION IS STILL NOT SUMMONED TO THE SUPREME COURT OF GHANA.
WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO SACRIFICE GHANA ON THE ALTER.
SAD AND STRANGGE FOR THIS TO HAPPEN IN THE 21st CENTURY.

Nonsense, where were CeDi Africa when the Ghana at 50 was given live telecast by the NDC government. Didn't that affect productivity? Why delay broadcast? This is pure injustice to Ghanaians.
