Let me educate you and all those thinking like you. The initial point of contention is the number of pink sheets, how they were obtained, whether they were genuine, whether the number presented to the respondents matches with what was stated in the petition. This is the first stage. If after the cross examination it comes out that the NPP fabricated evidence by duplications, padding presidential pink sheets with parliamentary ones, forged signatures on others, if all these are established, the Supreme court may be called upon to dismiss the appeal without even verifying the content of the pink sheets. The NPP seem to be rushing the SC to ignore this reconciliation stage and start with the analysis, and this was alluded to by Bawumia when he asserted that "even if only 6,000 pink sheets are the ones to be analysed Nana Addo would be declared winner" Unfortunately one of the judges seemed to go along with him by trying to block the request for a referee to audit the pink sheets. This is against the due process which is why the SC the number of pink sheets given to the respondents are what would be used and not what the petitioners are stating. This point would later come out, you cannot allege something and when directed to provide further and better particulars you are found wanting.

Tony Litor should have realized by now that he needs the help of a statistician to draft relevant question for his cross- examination to be effective. If you are cross-examining a engineer in a products liability case, you better have an engineering to assist you with questions for crossing the opponent's expert. Bawumia will continue to frustrate him unless he gets expert help and stop his court room antics. It appears Litor is overestimating his knowledge of statics and he is making a mockery of himself in his cross.
Additionally, he fails to realize that the Justices have reviewed the evidence filed with the Court. They understand the case that is why Lithor is losing those baseless motions. If he keeps this up, he is going to lose credibility with the Justices. Lawyer Adisson went through his direct of Bawumiah in such a break neck speed that he may have won some brownie points with the Justices. He is effective.

When in fact you knew of the existence of the polling station. If I omit to state the name of one of my children in a form I am filling, does that omission mean my child does not exist? And if you omit to state your age in a form requiring your age , does that mean you are unborn, an infant or an adult. Whatever is contained in a document is only prima facie evidence, not conclusive evidence . It is rebuttable. Have we not heard several persons emerge after their funerals when they have been presumed dead? Do we still insist that there Death Certifacte says the person is death, so he is dead. It seems the entire case of the Npp is that "paper no lie ".

What bawumia and probably justice Sarpong does not understand is that Tony Lithur is not engaging Bawumia on the point of law, but the credibility of his evidence. Secondly it was wrong for Bawumia to invite Lithur to examine his so called calculations. That is for the judges to direct. And that is why the lawyer ignored Bawumia. A little learning in Law is dangerous. Bawumia should know that negligence in law especially if it is reckless amounts to an offence. So 11,000 NPP polling agents just decided to take an important exercise for a joke,and appended their sigantures to pink sheets? Are they not being reckless? What is this tilapia story Bawumia is alluding too? The issue of the role of polling agents assumes a greater importance than Bawumia is prepared to accept. When it comes to verifying the collusion, voting without verification, filing of protests against irregularities such as over voting, that is where the NPP would realise how wrong it is for them to diminish the crucial role of the polling agents in the intergrity of the elctoral process. But we have not gotten there yet. All that is been done now is to discredit the star witness in as far as the number of polling stations, duplications, and mixing of parliamentary pink sheets with presidential ones. If Justice Sarpong does not appreciate this line of Tony Lithur then sorry for him. The picture would soon become clearer.

Sorry you don't understand the proceedings. We are not counting pink sheets here but the numbers on the pink sheet is what matters and that is why the Respondents lost another objection today(Monday) when they requested the auditing of the pink sheets. Tony Lithur is flailing badly and the worst lawyer I have ever seen having watched many real cases being adjudicated in court. He asks questions he doesn't know what the answers are going to be which is a law 101 taught to law students in their first year of law school.
No lawyer worth his salt will suggest or ask an open question as he did which allowed Dr Bawumiah to make the Tilapia analogy, that was a knockout blow. Lithur is a disgrace as a lawyer. Bring Tsatsu Tsikata and let's see if he can do better.

Bawumia started compiling the evidence way back in December 2012, why did he not detect these duplications until 17/04/2013 just 10days after he filed his affidavit. He only noticed his errors either intentional or unintentional had been found out and quickly deleted them from the list before the main case began.
You equally think like Bawumia that the NPP Agents were just your watchmen but you are wrong. It is a constitutional requirement that you appoint agents to represent you at the polling stations and so if you fail to do so properly then you have slept on your rights and cannot benefit from your own misdeeds

Bawumia takes a look at the pink sheet in question and says the number at the CI portion is 733 but the total votes cast in the polling station was 763. That was clear over voting, he adds.
Lithur returns and says the figure there is unclear. It could be 739. Bawumia responds and says even if it is 739 as the counsel for the respondent is suggesting there is still over voting because the total number of votes cast in that polling station exceeded the total number of registered voters. "
Tell me how Bawumiah got the 733 numbers as registered voters from in his argument with Luther which he Luthur did not challenge and say the CI column is not for registered voters.
How do you come by the issued ballot? You come by the issued ballot by the registered voters plus extra ten percent of ballot papers.
Now 'Geinues', tell us how registered voters of 733 can have 739 voters even if you add spoilt votes. The problem in Ghana is that we have too many dummies in the system their thinking is clouded with too much "ABETE3" anf pig feet.

He insisted that the evidence on the face of the pink sheet speaks for itself and not the claim being made by the Counsel for President Mahama.
Dr Bawumia made the comment during cross-examination by Mr Tony Lithur when he was grilled on the election petition.
He said the portion of the C1 [CI is the portion where the total number of registered voters is normally recorded on the pink sheets], which should have contained the total number of registered voters was not filled in by the presiding officer, which points to an illegality, adding that, the “officer had something to hide”.
