In batting for her country, she stepped on so many toes.Although she singularly opened up the market for house ownership for all to enable those in council properties to own them.A policy that benefited several Ghanaians who later remortgaged their houses for their capital to put up their houses in Ghana and to set up businesses.On the minus side Ghanaians who were not resident but who delivered their children in the UK,their children were not granted automatic residency unlike in the US.She was an enigma who influenced the world during her time.In paying tribute to her An commentator said the first thing Donald Regan will ask on a sensitive foreign policy is what Margaret says about it.That is measure of the woman.
