I think you missed the point! The problem is that the African masses are benighted, disempowered and marginalized! The politicians are just exploiting the benighted masses!

Mr Kwame Yeboah, you seem to belong to the unenviable class of angry men in Ghana whose numbers are swelling by the day but I'm sorry, your anger is misdirected. You're barking up the wrong tree, mister. We're a nation of angry people and we'll continue to express this anger until the wrongs are righted. That's the only way to keep the marauding gangs of looters a.k.a. politicians on a short leash.
People are justifiably angry and that
includes the NPP leadership who happen to be the butt of your typically overstated and hyperbolic remarks.
Should people be quiet when there's evidence that elections have been stolen? Was it not a sense of entitlement when Mahama cried hoarsely on the campaign trail to a sectional crowd in the north that "it's time for a northerner to be president? That was a full octave below low key and very unpresidential but you nodded in approval.
You're so myopic and pathetic if you interprete having more mobile phones than people as Ghana being on the path of development. Dum sor, dum sor and water rationing have taken us back to the "stone age". Yes, we found crude oil in commercial quantities but can you tell me how this has helped to improve the life of the average ghanaian, except lining the deep pockets of greedy politicians? What do you say about massive and widespread corruption in the corridors of power which caused former Attorney General to dissent from his NDC party and label himself as a citizen vigilante in the case of the dubious judgement debt payment to Alfred Agbesi Woyome?Do you approve of the misappropriations, mismanagement, cronyism, ineptitude, unbridled government borrowing and spending, etc that's so pervasive in the present administration?
Please wake up ! It's daybreak Ghana and you're still snoring. On whose side are you? I'm sure you're the voice of the nouveaux riches in Ghana who feel threatened by a growing army of shortchanged and angry ghanaians.

Democracy is about equality. Some claim to believe in democracy just to gain power but they do not believe in equality. That is the dilemma the NPP faces.

This writer is foolish and inferior. If challenging election results meant undermining the current government or not believing in equality, why then did the founder of NDC, Jerry Rawlings sign into law the Constitution which allows the NPP to take this course? You may be able to deceive the gullible Ghanaians who fail to read into your inferior tribal tactics but you can never win over every Ghanaian with your nonsense. Elections are not about who can steal elections so shut up.
