GWCL is not disfuntional. I beg to differ. The existing structure was the sam one which existed and it worked until the expiry of the AVRL contract. What is happening now is that people who think their govt is in power and therefore deserve to head the company are creating all sorts of problems to get rid of others they suppose are not "politically correct" in other to take their positions. In doing this they have left the work and are fighting for positions. These people have been assisted by the former MWRWH Mr E.T. Mensah. These are the issues. It is not a disfuntional structure, but ambitious and corrupt people with political connections.

A good piece. The cartels at GWCL would not allow this to happen. I urge govt to push for radical reforms in the urban water sub-sector.
