THIS IS PURE INSULT ON AFRICA AND AFRICANS.
First of all where the hell are you from with the name “Joseph” , are you a foreigner who added local zeim to your names, or you are Zeim who is IGNORANTLY acting “Joseph”.
My name is Prof. Zuut Tutugri Tutankhamun from Dagbong. Ask about me in Tamale and Dgabong and you would be told I am a bold African and a proud African and a knowleageable African who is not and CANNOT be confused and abused and used by the homosexuals of the west like you and your so-called ngos are.
I am challenging you and that “NGO” and every other nonsense called “NGO” there in Tamalae and all North, to invite me and my group for a public debate with you all, at the “Jubilee” Park in Tamale, to proof to all whether African Traditions make sense, or the bastardic homosexual ones you BLINDLY adopt from them for coka cola pepsi.
You said :
“Unfortunately, certain negative traditional and cultural practices continue to limit women and tend to sway them in their attempt to grow in business as they continue to suffer from male dominance and abject poverty”.
How do you measure “negative” , and where did you learn that nonsensical idea from?. Did you know that euro-homosexual Traditional and Cultural practices are the worse and most senseless in the world that continue to limit all mankind, and tend to sway them in their attempt to grow , as the world continues to suffer from satanic euro-homosexual dominance and abject poverty everywhere on earth?.
You said:
“The marriage institution, the traditional system of inheritance and the traditional leadership system are the main socio-cultural vehicles over which men in the area do not only have absolute dominance, but also are used as denial, exclusion and limitation tools to inhibit the growth of women in many life’s functions”
Did yo know, or did your homosexual masters teach you(they will never teach you the truth, only lies),
That the marriage institution and TRADITIONAL LEADERSHIP DOMINANCE OF THE WEST(I wish you knew this, little boy) are the main socio-cultural vehicles by which the homosexual west has absolute dominanceover the rest of the world?.

“According to statistics from ActionAid, an average Northern woman spends about 70 percent of her time on house chores or unpaid care work daily, and as a result, majority of them are denied the opportunity to engage in other income generating activities or businesses in order to support their families as well as empower themselves economically”.
Who is Action Aid, Who’s action do they do?, and who do they REALLY aid?. Whogave them that authority and audacity for that “statistics?, and how did they get the socalled 70%. What rubbish are these words: “ house chores or unpaid care work” etc. Let me leave this paragraph pregnated with nonsense.
You said:
“Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of one of a series of training workshops in Tamale, the Project Manager Ms. Azumi Mesuna, said the training programme also aims at equipping community facilitators and partner staff with knowledge on unpaid care work and time diaries so that they can engage in effective advocacy at the community level”.
“Speaking on the sidelines”, what language is that?,. What is “training workshops”?. Is it colonizing and confusing workshops or training workshops?. “Project Manager”. What rubbish is “at equipping community facilitators and partner staff”. How on earth do you guys make yourselves such dirty instruments of colonization, usurpation and neo-colonisation?. No wonder you are trained only to do effective western nonsensical colonialism advocacy into or communities for pittance .
You said:
““In other words, the time has come for men to support women in their house chores so that society can do away with the problem of differentiating roles and responsibilities for men and women as well as girls and boys”, she emphasised.
Such time has only now come in childish Europe, not in old-age Africa. We supported women well over 15,000 years(YES FIFTEEN THOUSAND YEARS) before there existed anything called european in the caves of caucasia, so that is their kind of thing, not ours.
Differentiating roles for women and men is NOT A PROBLEM at all in the first place, not to talk about doing away with it.
Now, who gave you all breakfast on that day, and who gave you coka cola and small coins in your hands for your energy and great wealth shea nuts?. I know 100% that you did not take local porridge or a drink from the Gukpegu Gbanglana’s Place. A drink from him could not make you and your “NGOs” that unthinking and colonialism-respecting and accepting. How on earth do you make yourselves such sheep for these ignorant people from the west who think they know more than anybody else, yet they are the most stupid of the earth.
Please do yourself and yourselves a favour by going to the net to google the following:

I had a teacher who said if you don,t change the change will change you and you will be a lost man.But the Northern men are at the tip of loosing their women to other tribes.I tell them all the time. You don,t loose your balls when you help your wife pound the fufu or take the children BATH while your wife watches her favorite movie. There is nothing wrong washing dishes or sweeping around the house while your wife takes her shower.
There are a lot of northern guys who hold tight to the old ways looking at the woman to be a baby making toy and a work horse. When the wife does not cooperate in any way to his satisfaction the results is beat down. When the woman refuse them sex is a beat down.
I ask these women why they don,t report these things to the police or the proper authorities. They say the man will beat them out off the house when he returns from the police station. There is little support from the woman's parents either. They will ask the woman why you reported your husband to the police.

women are their own worst enemies. they sometimes hide behind some pseudo cultural practices and blame it on men. i dare say that men are more generous to women when it comes to affliction than the women themselves.
many interventions will come and go but little will be achieved if women behave the way they do now.
just look around you and their own attitude will tell you whether they really mean business. the educated ones have gone hay-wire. silly dressing, i don't even know how to describe them nowadays.
let those who believe that men are the cause of women's predicament observe closely women who find themselves in highly placed positions and how they treat their fellow women not to talk about men sometimes.
i believe in women empowerment whatever that means but it must start with themselves.

Ziem, your article is full of contradictions, poorly structured and gives a rather false impression of reality. There is no denying that women (not just in Northern parts of Ghana) up and down the country and indeed across Africa have to overcome major obstacles to e.g. go through their education, become professionals and householders, support their families etc, what Tony Blair's wife and top British lawyer Cherie Blair called "juggling a number of balls at the same time". I am sure there are cultural norms across Ghana, some of which impede women's progress and women in the North will be no exception to these challenges. But to suggest that somehow a culturally entrenched tradition makes "Northern Men" to somehow feel "jealous" of their wives or predicated to suppress their development, progress and success as entrepreneurs is quite staggering.
You contradict yourself by suggesting that women in the North spend up to 70% of their time doing unpaid work, yet Action Aid has recruited 150 of such women to undertake "unpaid voluntary work placement". Is that NOT PERPETRATING THE VERY ISSUE YOU SEEK TO CONDEMN? And by the way, when these women have completed their "training" you expect "over 3000 more women to benefit from their entrepreneurial skills". So, these women acquire skills, come back into the same "male-dominated societies" where the men are 'so jealous of the women that "they don't want them to succeed" and how do you expect these women to use/demonstrate these skills? You have already suggested that they lack social protection and even government has done nothing for their emancipation. And you expect them to now suddenly find some new 'freedom of expression' to 'transform their communities'.
How very pathetic! Why do you think we have FCUBE and there has been so much emphasis on education, especially of the "girl-child"? Why do you think efforts are made to get more of our girls into school and to study to achieve? Granted, that not many girls (from the North) necessarily make it into higher education etc. Has there not been progress in improving education and livelihoods? Of course there is still a lot of work to do, but you paint a very miserable and hopeless picture which could not be further from the truth!!! If you want people to support NGO efforts to improve the situation, by all means make your point. But please research your topic properly, arm yourself with the facts and present a balanced, fact-based and serious sets of arguments and provide useful 'food-for-thought' for everyone.
I am afraid articles such this one do no justice to the issues and certainly do not help to emancipate the very women you purport to want to support.
And to say that you are a journalist makes it even the more pathetic and I wonder which school of journalism you graduated from. The type of 'gutter' and 'tabloid' journalism that you write is a disgrace to your training and I would suggest you have a serious re-think about your approach to reporting stories of this kind. By the way most of the "Northern Men" I know have been very supportive of their wives (whether literate or illiterate) and supported them in their industry - my own mother is living testimony of what I write here and she, though illiterate, has produced SEVEN (7) graduates (5 of whom have postgraduate degrees including from Russel Group Universities in the UK and Ivy League Universities in the US). The girls were also encouraged to go to school and have not only achieved high academic qualifications, their own daughters (i.e. my mother's grand daughters) are also proud graduates from our Universities.
Perhaps we should identify such success stories and showcase them, tell others about them and use that as a powerful tool to help transform our society. My mother is still alive, fresh of mind and capable of giving you a good story for you to share. And she is a proud Northerner who has never travelled outside Ghana!!! You must be careful how you report and stop misleading the public!
