He actually said the trip was being sponsored by 5 businesses and that the government role was to guarantee to the Israel government that pastors will return. I couldn't believe a pastor will perpetrate such a lie. What an asshole

Joe my brother I think I know your frustrations, We don't need to go to Israel to pray for the blessings but we do need the blessings even when we know or think we have them all. They are all Gods given and for that matter we need God to replenish what we deplete and to help us to find more and more from our soil. Going elsewhere to pray is like saying our land is not good enough or better put; "sacred enough" but in all indications the land of Ghana has more blessing than that of Israel for example our natural resource, good lands for agriculture, more drinkable water, a coastal line, well nature people, sizable population, great weather, peaceful with all neighbors and etc. All we need is a proper management of ourselves and that of our resource and with a supporting prayers in our backyard to foster the continuance of the peace and stability we have. I know we can do it, it's not that hard if only we can take that country at heart and refuse those outsiders who help some of us to destroy anything progressive in the country. If the sitting president thinks we need prayers, there is nothing wrong with that, but do it in Ghana. All he need is to gather (within Ghana)some prayerful individuals to pray or even encourage all Ghanaians to do so for our nation, that to me is powerful!

Many of them simply want to go there to tour the area, considering the fact that many of the bible's history took place there. As for ordinary prayers, we all do it for our dear Mother Ghana. Bishop Duncan Williams even did pray for Ghana that day when they met the president. There's a hidden agenda.
