Mhama just thinks about pussy 24/7. You have to first have a sense before you can think about common sense and this man who drops babies everywhere he steps does not have any sense at all.

It is such a shame, that after fifty-six years of Independence, this is what we have for a President...the name Ghana must change to Gold Coast.

Why on earth can he appoint regional ministers who went through a vetting quizz over knowlwdge of the communities they were designated to serve and then turn around a week later to reassign all to different areas? An appointee from Volta Region will be less conversant with the political and local intrigues of Eastern . And so would be the likelihood of a knowledgeable official from the Ashanti Region to poorly serve The Central Region for lack of connectivity.
The same lack of sense of foreseability which drove decision makers of the past to construct highways without adding pedestrian cross bridgesto be allocated at needed areas. Why would busy intersections at Lapaz or Zongo Junction not have pedestrian cross bridges instead of some far desolate area beats the hell of imagination. IDIOTS IN CONTROL OF AFFAIRS. The prize we are paying for our folly.
Our leaders are just dumb and senseless.

Very sad indeed. Where is Ghana heading now? The uncertainties. Small businesses collapsing. Why?
Thanks for a great article.

Your pieces are long and obtuse, consequently they easily put off even the most avid reader; it would seem to me that without the NDC or Mahama, you would be bereft of themes for your readers; in electoral contests in Africa, the vanquished NEVER concedes defeat even if they're roundly and soundly beaten as we witnessed in Ghana and recently in Kenya so NPP's presence at the courts is only a face saving act and has nothing to do with usurpation of anybody's power ; finally, while you berate the president for doling out 50.000GHS to 275 MPs, who don't seem to see anything wrong with your NPP MPs being amongst the first to grab their share of the supposed booty. Advice: burn off your choleric spleen and that will do your health some good.

This author lacks the "common sense" that he is accusing Mahama of. I don't care about NPP or NDC or XYZ but it makes common sense that the M/DCEs who are the president's representatives in districts should share his vision. Allowing anybody to stand the election sounds ideal but it will not help in developing the district. If that M/DCE belongs to NPP, what will be the person's campaign message in the next election? That he did XYZ or the government did XYZ? Please, we may be aiming at emulating systems that are already fully fledged but we have to be circumspect in the process in order not to derail the gains made over the period.
Again, eventhough I thought the president should have known that it does not serve the regions well to have somebody from the region being the regional minister and therefore should have from the on set appointed ministers to regions that they do not come from, it is better late than never. I have personally watched regional ministers skew developments in the region towards their constituencies to score political points; decisions are made based on selfish interest and not the needs of the areas. Some of these actions are usually due to pressures from foot soldiers and business people from the minister's constituency. Contracts in those regions end up with people from his/her constituecy irrespective of whether they are competent or not. I think the president has made a good decision though it came late but that to me shows that he is indeed thinking about the welfare of the people. I wonder if this author would have insulted an NPP president in the same manner if that president went contrary to what he thinks should be the case. Sometimes we need to be civil in our utterances. I know that even if Mahama miraculously turns this country into New York, people will still find faults with him and insult but that certainly does not auger well for us. He needs our support and counsel and not insults. Times are hard but I know God will not forsake this country.
