I studied in Cuba before and never was our allowance late and that was even in the early 1980s when the economy of Ghana was so bad and was about to be handed over to the Breton Woods Institutions. Politicians must not play with the education of Ghanaians as was done by the National Liberation Council after the 1966 coup, withdrawing all most of the Ghanaian students in Eastern Europe who wish to denounce socialism to come back home. I worked with some of those people in the Ministries and can tell how dejected they were and worse of all some of them latter ended their own life. There are U.S. students in China, North Korea and Cuba studying in all aspects of Human Endeavour or is the opposition in Ghana also a Boko Haram?
