What we can do is to eliminate NPP parliamentarians through 'adjusting democracy' to bring in the Market women, Farmers, Teachers, KayaYoo, etc and just pay them quarter of MP's salary and benefits.
And the Only person who has the leadership qualities and might to do it is my JJ Rawlings.
Of course democracy can be adjusted through a review of the constitution, simple.

This man is talking like a novice. Even the chosen theme is infuriating.
The writer of this article is sounding like a 'Sunday School Catechism teacher'.
Is this man ignorant of Politics? Does he understand what is in the word and how the game is played.
Does he understand what a Political Party means?
A Political party is an association or a group of people, with similar or identical ideas, who have come together to take over the reigns of government through the ballot box. That is, they want the power to rule only through elections.
The question is: if these elections are rigged, that is, if they feel that they are being cheated or being prevented to rule unjustifiably, what do they do? Violence and Anarchy?
As I have been emphasizing many a time on this forum, the problems were created by The Constitution of Ghana, and Not by the NPP. The NPP, as a political party, is playing its game according to its rules.
I just learnt that in The Kenyan Constitution, if there is a petition at the Kenyan Supreme Court, as it is now, over the Election of the President, The President-Elect, would not be sworn in until after the grievance is resolved, but The Ghana Constitution is not so.
The President-elect was sworn in and now he is having the problems which were not caused by him.
Please, I am not holding any brief for the NPP as a political Party, what it means is that, the NPP is playing by their rules.
Soccer has its rules; An ordinary player cannot touch or handle the ball except the goalkeeper.

The Supreme Court needs to expedite the case to remove this slick thief from power as soon as possible. We have an avalanche of evidence to prove that Mahama woefully lost the elections. Thanks to the collaboration with the greedy bastard Afari Gyan who declared this moron the winner. Mahama keeps appointing Ministers and deputies in an attempt to legitimize his position as the President but it is all a mirage. How can such a crooked thief run a country like Ghana with the appointment of 17 northerners as Ministers when these "Natafoo" have never run a business in their lives. Look at what is happening in the country at the moment with all sorts of mismanagement. Thanks to Kwame Nkrumah who gave these people free education and now they think they have arrived. What became of Ghana that "Ntafoo" who once were toilet carriers want to take over the country. We will not sit idle for this to happen. It's just a matter of time and we shall see who are the "masters" and who are the "laborers".

NPP shd continue with their boycott and litigation. When they win elections in Ghana, NDC will pay them in their own coin seven fold. Wait and see.
They rather apologize for what they have done. We shall never forget such hostage taking by NPP. We promise them hell and brimstone when it gets to their turn, unless they repent and stop rhe nonsense in court

Mr brother, my advice to you is that if you are at school or at the university studying, you have to study very hard because when you come out into the world, you will realize that the market place is highly competitive. There is not pity or favoritism. Most especially, when you are living and working in any of the Western Countries,or advanced countries like The United State Of America, my brother, forget it.
The Law is more important than human- being
When NPP wins, they have to get prepared and they know. They will not expect favoritism from any quarters, either from Heaven or The Earth.

The current boycott is to alert the world that the govt of Mahama is a partisan govt without national support and that those who do business with it do soi at thgeiur own risk -- until the Supreme Court case is over.

I agree that the NPP parliamentarians are making a mockery of democracy by boycotting parliament business. There's a genuine bone of contention but government business must also go on. In the interest of the nation we all profess love for ,the NPP parliamentarians will have to do a one eighty and promptly attend to the people's business that we elected them to do. What's important is that it's not about Mahama or any individual but it's about Ghana.
That said, what's going is just symptomatic of what goes on in the ghanaian political arena. The NDC used boycotts to register dissent and protests when they were in opposition and it appears the NPP are paying them back today in their own coin. What's gravy for the goose is also gravy for the gander so we'll continue to see such protests but the question is how beneficial is it to the general welfare of the ghanaian. It does not put food on anybody's table
. We, the people of Ghana are very divided and polarised along tribal and political lines so most ghanaians see nothing wrong when the boycott is purveyed by those they support. They wear a different pair of glasses when the boycott is coming from the opposite aisle.
The truth must be told to all politicians that we, the people will no longer condone these senseless boycotts because they impact our lives negatively. We have to outlaw boycotts and expunge it from our political to do lists. Whilst we shouldn't waste any more time in making sure democracy is deeply and properly rooted in our lives and the supremacy of the law becomes an integral part of our nation's structure, we should also learn not to follow blindly but question and if necessary repudiate and reject decisions that are made by politicians in our name but not for our welfare. These men are our chosen representatives and we, the people own the power, not the other way round.
I'm waiting and praying to see the day in my lifetime when NDC, NPP , CPP, etc, supporters will come together to protest an issue because it is the right thing to do.
What we can do is to eliminate NPP parliamentarians through 'adjusting democracy' to bring in the Market women, Farmers, Teachers, KayaYoo, etc and just pay them quarter of MP's salary and benefits.
