You should also know that reasons for take over of goverments in Ghana mostly comes from the behaviour of the civil adminstration look at the current state of goverment in Ghana now and ask how long did we gain independance.
Rawlings at his turn in office did some good jobs in Ghana light, roads, aand most the elections of civil goverments, his choice of men came to lead Ghana since. pay him his dues as it befits him for he did his best.You mentioned in your statement you mentioned the killing of persons tell me what will you do today with some of the NDC members.To your question JJ rawlings should be seen as the only one to bring about democracy in Ghana good or bad.

He ruled all these years without paying taxes and killed or destroyed the businesses of those who he said evade taxes. Government raised taxes through taxation so, who the hell is he for not paying taxes? He was the brain behind the current constitution and made sure he and the leaders who will come after him, will not pay taxes. Does it make sense to you? Dispute that and I will tell you to get a copy of the constitution and read it yourself. How many good leaders will love to be clothed in such a stupid clause concerning taxation?
