Ghana is rich with natural and human resources, but our way of life, our cultures all the tribes included have contributed to state of corruption in the country. Our institutions reflect corruption, our political institution, judiciary parliament chieftancy and the civil service, police and all services in Ghana is full of corrupt people. Until we comfront corruption as a nation Ghana is doomed. Unfortunately Prez Mahama does not have the gut to confront corruption. The better Ghana agenda will not be 20% achieved yet Ghana will be in billions of dollars in debt after 4yearsthat the nation will spend the next 56years paying. Ghana needs a savior and the savior is every ghanaian of every persuation. It is the collective will of the nation to change the corrupt traditions that breeds corrupt leaders.

Hallo Yaw Antoh Edusei,I'm shaken by the ever deteriorating conditions in Ghana.Whenever "Thinkers & Far-sighted personnel like U speaks about the state of the Nation, all that One sees is Partisan Folks like Hawa Yakubu also for the sake of Politics & Democracy come out with opinions that can not WASH.I agree with others too that "MP's" keep failing the Country as many of the corruption & mismanagement that go on in the country has no-one & no-one doing nothing but allow to go on & on-Why ??.It's just a sad state of affair & can not UNDERSTAND why these evil against the State Citizens prevail. It appears the Establishment & Institutions are Castrated - Contracted - & prostrated with "NO Eyes & Ears & Mouth". How do u tell me -- the very basics to support & control what makes us a Society is hopelessly handled & The Law & Order machinery of the Police & Regulations & Discipline of the Justice System all broken down & U shamelessly say --Ghana got Prez. / Constitution / Parliament School of Higher Learning & still witness all that go on in the Country. Some thing is Wrong & no one is a Bold & Courageous to correct it hence this conditions .. As I write this 'mm really disheartened & any moment break down & die.. cannot take this farce nonsensicals going on in the country & i bet u poor & against Humanity & Nature & pray the Sword cut them all into pieces-- thx Yaw for this Insight & Wisdom... I want to rule this country not these rascals & dim wits of Ministers & Law Enforcement Agents --- What's the job of BNI--The Traditional Chiefs -- oh no.

The independent was a mistake in the sense that Nkrumah was the first leader of our nation and who was his vice? The problem started with Nkrumah. He felt that he was above all and sundry and that pushed him to commit some petty mistakes that led to his ouster.
Instead of developing Ghana to the envy of all, he was pushing and advancing some stupid tactics with his quest to unite the continent of Africa. He set up that Ghana-Guinea-Mali alliance funded by our money and what did that alliance do for us?
The mistakes he made did trickle down to the current leaders and as we are debating, our constitution, which was written under the "nose of JJ" gives "tax exemption" status to our presidents. The question is, if our leaders have tax exemption status, who should pay tax? Taxation is what any government depends on to generate revenue so, if our leaders should not pay tax, who should be taxed to generate revenue for development? These are some of the blatant mistakes we are forced to live with.
Mills ordered a commission to review the constitution but that clause never crossed their minds.
Ghana, as she stands, is cursed under our leadership. How can a black man leads black people? If Ghana is still under colonial rule, we will never experienced these man-made mistakes such as power and water rationing. These things are for human survival yet, we are being forced to accept the unacceptable due to bad leadership.

True this nation by birth has only got about 4 good leaders; namely Nkruah, Busia, JJ and Kuffour. These are the only guys I can say car to power with a vision.
Eventhough nkrumah emerage as a dictator, yet he could not be left out for our independence. Yes he has his good sides, been so much power dunk, yet he did us some good that I belive can not only remain in our bones. He got us to Hydro electric power which is now out moored, yet it has serve the nation a good perpouse and for good times. He squanded all the cash that the British govt. left us yet he was able to build the nation an Airforce and developed some hospitals. His name could never vanished in the history of this nation.
Busia, could also be classfied as Ok,but this crazy men never allowed him to operate or function. He tried to developed our civil rights by implementing good civil education, and also develop or infrastructure but never stayed long on power to do that. He tied his best to get the commonest thing (water to all the villages in ghana but.)
JJ car to power, at the tie Ghan rightly need to wipe away holding and profiteering,( Kalabule) he did an finally, he opened up the gates of the action to democracy that we are all enjoying now. After a long ride.
Kuffour also came he did his best, be countinued the job of all these past presidents, by setting up good utilities, infastracture and development, but left the current govt. with skeleton developmental projects, and to this the NDC has avoided to countinued them . At miles as killed all this developments. Kuffour did well, but refuse the audit the people he was bringing into the country. Instead of partenershiping with the British, US investors, he went the chip way to china, who are now stealing all our resouces, doing illigal mining ang crazy developmental projects.
Now what has this Guy aha ah got to show?
He has to put his vision on the table, for all are looking. The books are widely opened to get into history his story.
Long live Ghana God bless Africa.

A famous art collector is walking through the city when he notices a mangy cat lapping milk from a saucer in the doorway of a store. He does a double take.
He knows that the saucer is extremely old and very valuable, so he walks casually into the store and offers to buy the cat for two dollars.
The storeowner replies, "I'm sorry, but the cat isn't for sale."
The collector says, "Please, I need a hungry cat around the house to catch mice. I'll pay you 20 dollars for that cat."
And the owner says "Sold," and hands over the cat.
The collector continues, "Hey, for the twenty bucks I wonder if you could throw in that old saucer. The cat's used to it and it'll save me from having to get a dish."
The owner says, "Sorry buddy, but that's my lucky saucer. So far this week I've sold sixty-eight cats."
Ghana is the precious saucer and it can never be sold.Despite all the bribery from the Politicians the nation is priceless.
Different tribes and Nations from all walk of life will buy cats in the shop but the saucer is there forever.

Joy TV has started a program called Innovation 101 and it is showing young enterprising Ghanaian who are turning the waste material around us into complete interesting material that would take the youth from the streets but it would take people with the mind of the eyes looking and gathering funds to develop. The Gas project at the western region is to take us into the petrochemical industry and even power our industries with power at lower cost which are on stream to happen this quarter and the next quarter

Such a great article, you have said it all. Lord have mercy on us as a country. Leaders who think going for a loan is an achievement. We have sold ourselves to the foreigners because of our greed, not thinking about our future generations.
Sad for my people.
