If you're the Nana Adwoa(VA) I know, then allow me to introduce myself as Kofi.
Just like you, my heart aches and bleeds for this nation which is still crawling on all fours after 56 years of existence. I'm not throwing my hands up yet into thin air. It looks pretty bad but all is not lost. The nation needs to be reborn and united with a unitary vision and a massive generational change in leadership. Long live Ghana.

Where is Paa Grant’s resourcefulness? Where is Danquah’s patriotism? Where is Nkrumah’s dynamism? Where is the elegance of the big six in our national struggle? Why must we put up with this shit?

It is archtypical of the Ghanaian intelligentsia, great lametations, tear jerkers, disparaging and outlandish claims but not one iota of idea how to get this place moving. Those born in the 50's and 60's and lucky to enjoy free local and overseas education are our overlords today, happy to pontificate daily about the sins of the youth. Dr Nkrumah's 1960's was different from the world we live today. Another thing,Dr Nkrumah did as he pleased, with no oversights and he goaled anyone that he considered a detractor. Can you imagine that happening toady? Why whitewash and glorify his name at every opportunity? You learn to crawl then walk!

Becoming President of the United States of Africa was not Nkrumah's ambition. In fact he suggested in one oh his speeches that Leopoldville in the Congo or Bangui in the Central African Republic should be the capital of United Africa. There was no way Nkrumah would have imposed himself on United Africa as the President. Sagacious and selfless Kwame Nkrumah lived ahead of his time.He had a vision of a Continental Government for Africa with a common currency, an industrial plan, the African Common Market and a Military Force-the Africa High Command. With Africa's immense resources, you can guess the advantages. Why do you think the WHITEMAN prevented Nkrumah from achieving his goal and turned round to form the European Union over forty years after they had moved Nkrumah from the political scene?

Ghana should not soon forget where we were before Casely Hayford, and the big six; J.B. Danquah, Arko Adjei, Paa Willie, Nkrumah and the rest got us our freedom. Our Freedom cost us the blood of our patriots. A celebration of joy is in the memory of the sacrifices of those brave men. Let us celebrate it with joy.

Why don't we give this country back to the British? I strongly believe this would help all.

Yes, the truth is, once the government keeps collecting taxes and tax payers, keep on dashing money to the ruling government, yes, people will expect every development to come from the said government. We must start introducing a new system whereby civillains uses tax contrubtions to pave their residancial roads and construct drainages, also all Agriculture villages should be allowed to, reinverst their taxes to develop their feeder roads. Simple because the " Government" can not do it all, the fact is, we are already rationing water, electricity, fuel and school classrooms, yes!!! yes!!! yes!!!

They don't have it. He just jumped on to power because uncle Atta was dead. He consided him self as the next president. Now the point is what is, or are his plans where dose he want to move this nation and how?
Let me tell you something, I am not a supporter to military coups, but there was one thing the 31st dec. revolt. Had was a plan they called it or named it Vision 2020.
I know the than president couldn't have made it through, because the international world was not giving them the chance, yet they were able to come out with a plan or vision for the nation.
NPP don't yell us what is on your manifesto, but tell us your Vision. Your manifesto is so much that you can not end every thing in it untill thy kingdom come.
This is why I said let us harmbly give Ghana back to the British.
God bless the Queen

THEIR GRAND SONS AND GREAT GRAND SONS REMAINED IN GHANA WHEN WE GOT INDEPENDENCE AND THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPY. THEY LEARNT THE ART OF THROWING BOMBS BUT THE GOOD SENSE OF GHANA HAS BROUGHT DEMOCRACY SO THEY CAN FORM PARTY AND GIVE IT A NEW NAME. BUT THEY CONTINUE TO LOSE ELECTIONS EVERY TIME AND SO THEY WILL NEVER APPRECIATE ANYTHING GHANAIAN. THAT WAS WHY THEY ASKED US TO KILL EACH OTHER. I WAS AT THE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION. EVEN IF WE HAVE NOT ACHIEVED ANYTHING WE SAW THE SPECIAL FORCE IN DISPLAY. THEY ARE READY TO KICK THE ASS OF ANY IDIOT WHO WILL TRY TO THROW BOMB AND KILL INNOCENT GHANAIANS

Now fellow Ghanaians, Ghana is 56 years old, four years more to retirement. Let us now assess the usefulness of the two political opposing camps(ideologies) that started and brought us up to this far.
'Independence Now or Never!'
'Independence within the shortest possible time.'
How do we assess or evaluate these two political concepts.
One would have it that, if The CPP (Kwame Nkrumah) had stayed in power up till now....
Others would also have it that, if The UP tradition had been in power, slowly but surely...
But then, the reconcilable factor here are the questions:
Where is the Soviet-Union ?
Where is Cuba ?
And after factoring in these questions,20yrs of military rule, and making the necessary additions and deductions, we would then come to the conclusions that;
Ghana is 56 years old and there is no water, shortage of electricity, poor medical health, poor educational standards and to be precise, the overall standards of living of all Ghanaians are falling.
Were Elections rigged,
May be, the leadership is not the right person,
Corruption and selfishness, sycophancy and stomach politics, are now prevailing in mother Ghana.
