Our problem is not the so-called Milovan Rajevac we do not need him. What has he accomplished when he left the Black Star? Every move to bring him is stupid stupid stupid we have never won Afcon with the so-called foreign coaches and we shall never win one with them. No country had ever won the world cup with a foreign coaches. Even the Fifa President had said it. Our problem is the GFA and Kwesi Nyantakyi who is a member of every committee created by man in the GFA.

Instead of spending over $44,000 monthly to employ a foreign coach, we should spend that money towards improving the skills and knowhow of promising Ghanaian coaches. One month's salary of a foreign coach can pay for one full year's coaching program in Germany. Extrapolate that over one year, and we can produce 12 fairly well trained coaches from some of the best coaching schools in the world. This is simple logic.
The best coach Ghana has ever had, C K Gyamfi, was not only a former player of the Black Stars, but also Nkrumah sent him to Germany to study coaching and team management. Any wonder that his achievements are unparalleled to date?
As a nation we should learn to get the best out of every Cedi we spend. We should not just throw money away on foreign coaches. When the same money if invested properly can give us five times more the benefit we may derive from a foreign coach.
I am not endorsing keeping Kwasi Appiah in his post at his current level of knowledge or lack thereof, but I do think we should invest in him and other local coaches to make them deliver better results. Sending him off to England for only 3 weeks amounts to setting him up for failure again. How much benefit is he and Ghana going to get from this move. Please GFA be a little bit more business minded and result oriented.

Plavi was always laughing to the bank, cashing a whooping $55,000.00 dollars every month from Ghana. His achievement, was a 4th position at the nations cup. We were beating by Mali. When Appiah took over, he's being offered $35,000.00 less what Plavi made a month. Making it a total savings of $350,000.00 just in 10 months of Appiah's stay in office. No more foreign coach oooo ton. Let's help our local coaches and keep believing in them. It'll take sometime but it'll work out. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah realised it in his days a the first president of Ghana, after getting tired of foreign coaches, he pulled C.K.Gyamfi out of the playing field into coaching school and the result paid off big time

Desailly has good contact, you said? What type of contact are you talking about? Do we need those contacts to get the team to its next level?
I want you to tell me where Desailly got his coaching experience from? Under whom did he learn the trade? How long was his training? Did he complete the course or haven't even began yet?
Why taken a position from a candidate who already has an experience and give it to one who does't? What are we going to gain from such changes?
Why do we want a change but have no patience to wait for the change to develop? I thought most Ghanaian wanted a local coach. Looking at the experience these local coaches had prior to the time Kwasi Appiah was selected, he was the one who had the experience. Sellas Tetteh, on the other hand, would have been the one to compete with Appiah over the Black Stars coaching seat; unfortunately, he left the country when he took the coaching Botswana job.
Therefore, it was the majority who picked Kwasi Appiah. Today, most of these same fans who advocated on behalf of Appiah to office wants him out? Why? Just because they want Desailly in Office? How many times Desailly rejected this same offer? Moreover, how can Appiah learn to be the better coach we want him to become?
Think about all these questions I placed before you and make your decisions.

Which idiot wrote this article? How can you say the "soon-to-be-vacant post" or that "with the impending departure of Kwasi Appiah" when the game with Sudan has not been played and the GFA have said they are backing AA. Are you an idiot Christopher Opoku? or you are a prophet of doom to prophesy that AA will be sacked?
What did Milo do for Ghana? You say he brought in new players. AA introduced Solomon Asante, Fatawu Dauda, Albert Adome but people are criticizing him.
Milo chop 4th and AFCON even with the Ayews. AA got the same position, but idiots are criticizing him.
I keep on telling you all these coaches are just trying their luck. They do not know anything. None of them will suceed in Europe. That is why they keep on rotating in Africa. If not, why are Milo, Paul Put and Mariano Barreto sniffing around Ghana like hyenas when we have a coach in place.
It is people like you and the idiots on here who are criticizing AA who give them a reason to continue. They know that Ghanaians like "white man" so they will be expressing interest even though there is already an existing coach.
Milo is not better than AA. Out of all our recent coaches, the only one who is better than AA is Ratomir Dujkovic (2006 world cup). This is why I keep on telling you people, the problem is not the coach!

Maintain Mr. AA. It will be a big mistake to change him.
The situation now is similar to when coach Duya was in charge of Black Stars. He failed miserably during the AFCON in 2006. Ghana did not even qualified for the 1/16th and Ghanaians crucified him and wanted him to resign but he never bulged. GFA maintained him and we all saw what happened at the World cup 2006.

Our present coach Mr. Kwesi Appiah
(my apologies) cannot foster the same air of professionalism and neutrality of purpose that prevailed during the reign of our last good coach Mr. M. Rajevic whom he assisted.
Under Mr. Appiah, the game of soccer has left the field of play, we no longer have opportunities to lavish praise on the tactics of the team.
Our game has become tedious, replaced by the preferences and tastes of our so called professional players who go about making unsolicited comments in the media, the coach drowning in indecision during games and the GFA not doing its job.
In Mr. Appiah, I must say the GFA does not have a dynamic coach who is independent enough to be held to account solely on the basis of performance.
With the World-Cup less than a year and half away and President Mahama stressing the importance of the Blackstars participating in it and learning to take their penalty kicks before the start of any competition.
The GFA is pleased to accept an apology from the national coach.....
and we(the president included) are supposed to wait for the coach to go to some famed European club and get some much needed skills and trainning while the world-cup is impending.
"Employ a good coach and all the players will line-up ........and balance will be restored"
Our money is being wasted on Mr. Appiah..... if he still needs more trainning to do this job. The GFA should stop insulting our intelligence and restore our pride to its former glory. The better management decision is to rehire Mr. M Rajevic, the better Serbian.
The GFA should wake up and put an end to this cheepness at the service patrotism........ who cares about the nationality of your coach if all the players are Ghanaian.
