I had hoped the Acting President John Mahama would follow President Obama's example of appointing the most or very qualified person (Democrat or Republican; Supporter or not), to man the various Ministries instead of throwing NDC square pegs into sensitive positions. WHAT DOES THIS WOMAN KNOW ABOUT THE BUSINESS OF AVIATION? DON'T THE NDC GURUS EVER LEARN?

I believe this article addresses very well the need for a comprehensive policy for the future of aviation in Ghana. It is absolutrly right that goverment should not be involved in running any airline nor, for that matter, the airports. As for regional airports in every region, let them grow, like seeds, where they will flourish. Finally, regarding education, I know of one Ghanaian young man in the UK who has obtained a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sheffield and cannot find a job in Britain. He must be encouraged to come to Ghana.
