( with greatest of respect) qualified Ghana for the first round of the 2010 world cup qualifications, won the under 20 world cup, served as an assistant black stars coach for several years. this is a man has been tried and tested, but he was ignored bitterly on tribal grounds. what is appiah's record? would you say frank rijcard is not a good becos he has not succeded elsewhere? no, his record is there at barca for everyone to see. he built a strong barca squad that still continues to conquer the world.

Some people have had the view that all people with Akan names are Asante people and possibly must be hated. People for instance take me to be an Asante man which I do not care. I have a friend in Ghana who is called Baah but his parents are all Dagomba people.
Let us be more united and stop the villification of one tribe after the other. Does one's tribe make a person more human than others?
