Persecuting or "hunting down" gays is clearly wrong.Ghanaians will however not allow the tiny minority of Pro-gay campaigners and their friends to run rough shod over the majoirty who do not subscribe to their views about human sexuality. The world wide pro-gay movement is relatively small but extremely well organised and very well funded. In recent years they have gathered momentum and for NOW seem to be gaining ground fast .Noone should underestimate the influence of these Pro-gay lobyist who have now established powerful networks in the mass media be it TV or Newspapers etc etc in Western countries. They now seek to infiltrate countries like Ghana through inducements or pure coercion and blackmail. THEY HOWEVER SERIOUSLY UNDERSTATE THE LEVEL OF RESISTANCE TO THEIR INCURSIONS IN COUNTRIES LIKE GHANA. The extraordinary influence of these lobyist is clearly demonstrated in Western countries. Their clout is extraordinary and completely out of proportion to their numbers.I repeat Nonone should underestimate the Pro-gay influence. In Western countries the Press and Tv media have given up all pretence of performing their time honoured role of INFORMING the public and are now primarily pre-occupied with SHAPING PUBLIC OPINION ALONG LINES THEY SEE AS FIT.IN THIS REGARD WESTERN SOCIETIES ARE NOW NO BETTER THAN THOSE OF TOTALITARIAN REGIMES LIKE KOREA WHERE STATE SPONSORED PROPAGANDA HOLDS SWAY OVER ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE. These extremely vocal and well connected pro-gay lobyist have managed to cowe and intimidate most politicians and opinion leaders in the West. They have now embarked on their next campaign- to dismantle all religious and conscientious objections to the Gaylife style IN Western society. They have also set out with missionary zeal to coerce and pressure apparently more "vulnerable" leaders of various developing countries. President Mahama may have allowed himself to fall prey to the influence of these infinitely cunning operators. Let us hope that he did not "sell his soul to the devil" in return for help in winning the elections as many are now loudly proclaiming.

Na true be that ooo, @thetrucker. I tend to sometimes agree with people who are against Nana Oye Lithur even though I support her stance on this gay issue. I know people are afraid that those lobbyist may infiltrate this administration to push their cause but I think we have to pray over this and ask for guidance from the Most High to deal with this situation. I believe we have to extend love and not hate towards this people. We have to let them know the dangers of what they are engaging themselves in, and trust me the dangers are enormous especially for the guys. We have to also pray so the Mighty hand of God will touch and change them else if we want to do it by ourselves then to quote Mr. Foh-Amoaning, the forces behind them is too strong for us to contend with.
On the whole, I agree with you that the pro-gay movement is well positioned and are trying their best to infiltrate every part of the society in this world and for that matter Ghanaians have to be vigilant to reject this "canker" from entering the shores of our country.
May God bless our homeland Ghana and make it great and strong.

The President has a Diploma in Communication. Does that automatically make him an expert?
I am tired of hearing this "accolade".
