I refuse to feel your pain. I have travelled the length and breath of the once beautiful and well planned Capital City of Accra, and I can assure you since February 4, 2013, the heritage, the health, the civilization and the prosperity of Accra is being obliterated by Ghanaians converging on Accra from all quarters. They squat on every possible square inch of government easement and erect container stores to set up illegal shops. This intern invites traffic, street hawkers, taxi ramps and tro-tros invading residential streets. All along our water ways of Dworwulu some squatters start vegetable farms using the filthy water to wash their taxis and also to water these large scale vegetables which they supply to chop bars and food chains nationally. There is a hoard of irresponsible Ghanaian lifestyles and attitudes which is constantly being perpetuated with impunity, but until we tackle them all with equal alacrity none shall be solved...PERIOD!!!

you are right. try and get this into the daily graphic too if you can. Its about time that people like you who understand environmental issues stood up to these destructive. A few weeks ago I saw people cutting down mature trees that line the airport road without any care and wondered why it is so easy to do this in Ghana. These trees had been there probably for close to 100 years but someone had the audacity to cut them down, nobody sais a thing.
