That Kofi wishes to come back into the fold and stop his backstabbing behaviour, that is one. On that score yes, NDC should accept him back. However, it does not mean the party has an obligation to make him a chief, Togbe or Nana? The arrogance he is showing, insulting party leaders on radio etc. does not show a repentant person. It shows a schemer who want to put himself in a power position to do more damage.

What kind of logic are you displaying here? If someone doesn't like the way Bokor is boring us here on a daily basis with his partisan articles, then the person must be Ashanti! He cannot be Ewe, huh? You think it's all Ewes who like the bearing of Bokor on this forum? Every day he's here with his anti-NPP, anti-Akufo, anti-Akan articles and cannot, for once, write anything non-partisan. Many of us hate this kind of attitude, whether it is from Okoampa or from Bokor.
That is why I am telling Bokor to fuck off and to shut his big mouth. You probably think saying big mouth is an insult. It is the figurative way of saying he is making too much noise, not the physical size of his mouth.
I am a full-blooded Ewe and I don't like the stand of Bokor on this forum! It is the same way I don't like the partisan stands of the Akan supremacists either!

Well said Dr.Bokor.Some of us have started regreting voting for the NDC.This is one of the reasons. The other one is with the appoitments from Mahama. We are still watching things. The disqualifications of Kofi Adams, is a calculated attempt, not only to disgrtace Kofi Adams per se, but also former president Rawlings. We haven´t forgotten how Tony Aidoo went on air to say foolish things about the former president, immediately we have done everything possible to retain the party in power, and are still fighting the NPP.
As a matter of fact,if some of them think, because we have already sacrifice and voted them to power and therefore they can do whatever they like,I can assure them that it will be nasty than what happened during the late Mills´ time.We the very people who help retained the NDC in power will give them a hell of problem that they have never seen or imagine.Who is Asiedu Nketia in the party? We will join forces with the NPP and make this country ungovernable. They are warned! The NDC is dancing on the edge of a knife.

The Classical biblical example of a prodigal son is one who having erred sits, reflects, recognises his errant ways and makes a conscious efforts to go back to his roots to exercise an act of contrition. I see no figment of that character in Kofi Adams. His utterances and actions so far have been nothing short of defiance and for me, ignorant and half-baked people who think just because of their links with Rawlings, they can say and do anything are not just stupid and arrogant, they don't deserve to be part of a national pluralistic party.
If Kofi Adams will not admit what he did and confess that he actually wanted the downfall of a SITTING PRESIDENT of Ghana (mind you I am not a member of the NDC), if he could show such disdain and that level of disrespect to the commander in chief whilst professing to be the spokesperson of a former occupant of that very office, and whilst doubling up as deputy general-secretary of his party, why should he be accepted jus because you say so?
Sorry Michael, for once I completely disagree with the premise of your argument and what I expect you to do be doing is condemning him openly and admonishing him. You should be advising Kofi to do the right thing and admit his folly, demonstrate remorse, seek forgiveness and allow time to heal before he jumps at any political opportunity. He is one of those "infants with sharp teeth" whom you recently referred to and instead of learning to 'drink milk, crawl before standing', thinks he is the finished article. I blame Jerry Rawlings for growing some of these jokers himself whom he now labels as such.
People like Kofi Adams are hypocrites, power drunk and self-seeking. How could he conceivably jump at the opportunity to win a seat when he was rejected by his own supporters because of his unacceptable actions. We as a people must not encourage people like these otherwise they will continue to believe in their own invincibility which is a very false sense of reality in my view.

Mike, are you saying that because of peace we should throw away rules and regulations to accept someone who just withdrew his court suit with the party only when he saw an opportunity in the death of an MP to get into paliarment. What about all those who stood by the party in all instances.

Where have all the wise elderly people gone? Asiedu Nketia may organise well to win election but he is immature for Gen-Sec position in the party, an so is Kwabena Adjei too vindictive and short and not exuding wisdom required in such position as party chairman.

Mojingles, you're absolutely right. One of Bokor's recurring problems is his inability to use certain common expressions correctly. He hears or reads them somewhere and without checking how to use them correctly, goes ahead and used them "anyhowly". Even Okoampa has also pointed out one or two of such incorrect usages of Bokor's. And since Borkor is writing everyday, he makes more of such mistakes. And ghanaweb has no editors.

Mr. Bokor, this piece, although well written is very biased. Your statement..."What is it about Kofi Adams that we haven’t had before in Ghanaian politics?", only goes to to support the idea that the status quo needs to be maintained, and such behaviours need not to rooted out of the Ghanaian society. In short, people like Kofi should continue to behave without impunity.
Secondly, your statement..."However, when President Mahama moved into the saddle to ride the horse of state, he turned coat".. Wow! What is this? Your emotions seem to haven taken the best part of you, if I am not mistaken. In your intellectual mind would you trust such a "TURN COAT" in your life, let alone in politics?
Once you decide to voluntarily join an organization (NDC, or any other), you must be prepared to play or abide by the organization's rules, laws, creed etc.. Kofi needed to be disciplined for his actions. By the way, please do not single out Mr. Asiedu Nketia ok. Kofi's suspension was taken by the NEC members headed by the Chairman of the party. There is provision in the NDC Constitution to appeal such cases and let one be heard. He had taken to matter to court and decided to withdraw it only a few days ago when he realized that he had the chance of standing for the Buem Constituency after the demise of Mr. Kamel.
We live in a society govern by rules and one must play by them..
Kofi is currently under suspension and therefore he is not qualified to stand.... This is as simple as that, ok!
