You malign Okyeame Boafo Akuffo, the greatest Akan linguist of Mamfe and Akropong Akuapem. Actually, if you care to know Nkrumah hired him as a state (Ghana) linguist. I can't vouch for this but Akuapems were UP advocates and it is on record, at least, oral history and oral tradition, that Okyeame Akuffo sometimes sang satirical praise poems to Osagyefo Nkrumah who had no clue that he was being insulted by the State Linguist. Whichever way we construct Nkrumah, he remains our most inspiring leader. He was to the end a man of honor. Long Live Nkrumah! Long Live the CPP! Long Live Ghana!
