Yes, women are as good as men, if not better. but i think that women must earn their positions and not handed to them on silver plata, simply because they are women. The push to make women look like men is rather causing a divide than elevate their status. it is dangerous to put a woman in a position because there are more men that capacity. It is like saying that more men should grow their buttocks because more women have buttocks. Georgina wood earned her position, so is Rose Bio, the police commander, Judge nkuenyhia for e.g. and the rest of our good women you can think of.Let the race to the top be natural than artificial.Don't hurry to put women into positions and then turn back to insult them for lapses. For Gods sake we are not talibans who don't allow women to add their contribution to society or stop them from schooling.

This has been my thought too. It is actually false to say what men can do, women can do better. This is falsifying the situation where there is need for complementarity. If that were the case why would the Football Associations not mix women with men to make one football team but decide to separate them, by making a team of women and a team of men? Why would the Lawn Tennis Association not pitch a woman against a man in the tournaments but pitiches a man against a man? Women have the means to give birth to children men don't have that possibility. Men are physically stronger than women and only God the creator knows why this is the case. It is the complementarity that we all look at. We should indeed be thankful that in Ghana a woman who is qualified for a job,gets it and gets the same pay as her male counterpart. I do agrre with this. This however should not mean filling positions with warm bodies because you want an equal quota for appointments.

Until they allowed men to rule on their behalf. This brought about the saying "a male may own a state, but the female owns it".

Talking psychology theory here...they are therefore able to execute orders or directions better than men who are prone to question and frankly lose focus. Teach a woman a skill and she can take it to the next level. Ask a woman to create something (invent, etc) and it's a stretch. These are all generalizations as there are always exceptions. I simply don't like the title of this missive. Seriously ask a woman to improve on the theory of relativity and its a stretch. Now ask a woman to teach it and they can do it better than a man.

Most highly talented pupils are not good in school, except for a particular area. On average women do better in school and university. However, it is a fact, that they are often paid less for the same job than men. On the other hand, in european countries like german, its for big companies and institutions an requirement to employ a certain number of women. Meaning, if two applicants with the same qualificaitons for a job and they have to employ a woman, then they will rather give the job to the male instead to the female applicant.

As an example, there is a reason women are typically prevented from joining a military infantry unit. Physically most women certainly can't fight better than infantry men during the long haul of a war such as World War 1 and II. It's been proven women break down when the going gets tough and emotional baggage can't be allowed when one is fighting the enemy on foot. Also, if I were to take the title of this missive literally, I can state categorically that there is no way women can make babies. God in his infinite wisdom gave men those tools to take care of business. There... and no way you can do it better. In general women do things better because its been proven they have the better focus and can apply that God-given maternal skills pragmatically and successfully in the workplace. Psychologists will say often times when a man knows he's competing with a woman in a professional setting, the man wins out and why? Men can be a**holes.
