1. You can't target RJ because he simply carries out instructions of his superiors. He didn't on his own accord, execute the demolition order
2. The destruction of the other business on the beachfront is troubling because it signals sale of the place to foreign entities, which will be a grave mistake
3. The establishment of PBC is questionable because of the coupling to Labadi beach hotel. Also it occurred when political influence was most likely leveraged, to secure the place.
4. It is very obvious that for decades, the shanty town beachfront had not warranted a demolition order but as soon as PBC starts making millions daily, it incurs the usual wrath of jealousy most Ghanaians wield deep in their DNA
5. The hotel's location and set up, does not leverage the beach but as soon as another entity does, up in arms
It is important to note that demolition justified or not, PBC was a royal location for the December visiting diasporans and seeing it demolished has courted extreme negative press for gh. People with investment plans are suddenly pausing for fear of suffering the same fate. This demolition will ripple through the spending of the diaspora and unlike ghanaians, giving everything to "God" and carrying on like nothing happened, the diaspora will vote with their feet.
Patronage this December will suffer big time, so let's keep that in mind. The year of return was a HUUUUGE successful venture of the NPP regime so let's see what this KOD guy can do to maintain that
There are many other factors in play here; some may be subjective but we know there is a political undertone to this demolition.
While you are busy pointing fingers at NDC, were you this vocal when people like Bongo whatever were picked up? Or the Emirates manager simply doing her job, kidnapped, blindfolded and almost died from shock? You had lost your voice or you had no internet connection to write articles?
The 8 killed during the elections or the Ayawaso West massacre? Where are your articles rebuking thise actions? If you have none then this is nothing but a stomach direction Influenced activity.

What a stupid article. Written for gullible Ghanaians, I guess. So Jagba got up my himeself and went and destroyed La Pleasure Beach? Is that what this phoolish biased writer is trying to tell us? Was it only the Polo Beach front that was demolished? Is Mr Blay and son immune from wrongdoing? I thought the writer would rather educate us on how a land allocated to SNNIT got to be encroached on by others? Who allowed it? In any case, if Mr Blay has a case, the law courts are there for redress. The problem we have in Ghana is that everything is now cheap politics- so much so that one can never know the Facts.
