I don't agree with everything you said here especially some of your lines of argument but thank you for the history lesson. I think the removal of the former chief justice was purely political and the "weight" of her suppose crimes are incomparable to the institutional damage that has been done to the judiciary. Seniority on the bench should never be a basis of appointment to the bench. This is not done in any of the more established democracies. As for Baffoe-Bonnie, his conscience will be his ultimate judge. One thing about Mahama though is that he has really mastered the art of deceiving the populace. He pretends to be humble and "nice" because he is knows that is what the average Ghanaian wants. In that way he has succeeded where Rawlings, Kufour, Mills and Akuffo Addo (the latter more egregiously) failed. Thank you sir.
