And to the governing body of the NDC. This is going to make them unpopular because common sense is gradually deserting us. I am coming home next week but because of this I cannot bring with me a phone my niece requested. I already have two phones. One for business and the other for personal. Customs are returning to the dark old days. Not good enough

If the Ghana government is looking to boost its revenue from taxes, there is an area where very little effort has to know the outcome of this exercise x revenue? Look at all the buildings that everybody is putting up in their village. What are the Municipal offices responsible for collecting these taxes doing? I believe there was a recent attempt by the University of Ghana in collaboration with an overseas university researching into the capacity of property tax collection in a selected area in the Akuapem area. It would be helpful and useful to know the outcome so that government could improve property tax collection in Ghana.
