The report stated that the discounts given, different exchange rates used by the Bank of Ghana among others accounted for the 22 Billion losses.
This could have been reduced to 10 Billion or something.
The 22 Billion is only the financial loss. We havent quantified the environmental cost of the gold that was purchased. This has health, safety and other related costs.
So let us do a holistic analysis of the program.DWEN HWE KANN
