Is Ghana ready to industrialize as she lost the opportunity presented by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and the CPP in the early 1960s.
Ghana started industrialization in the light and heavy industries, with ship building at the Tema Habour, radio and television manufacturing, cotton farming and textile industries.
Then large scale farms both in crop and oil palm industries as well as tomato paste factories, meat factories, wood and leader factories and industries that manufacture for the health sector as well as schools.
Then coup 1966 crushed all that dream that was being turned into reality by Ghanaians.
In 1972 General Acheampong government revive it, then again in 1979 Rawlings came to crush it again.
We need industrialization, agricultural, education and health at a large scale that will produce intellectuals in all aspects of human endeavour and also advanced technology in the construction and machine building industries.
We as a nation must think big about industrialization and see to it that only the sky is the limit.
