The writer of this article, we presume is coming from another planet, Mars. Was he in this country when the very project he is writing about was initiated by the World Bank, under the Akuffo Addo regime, and the funds allocated for it was discovered under the bed of the very Minister who was responsible to execute the work ? So who is he attributing the blame on??? A government that came to power 18 months ago or the government was failed to do the job and squandered the money ??
Let us be realistic in our thinking please and not write for writing sake!!!

Yes, let's assume the writer has a political lens on, but did the flood spare NDC supporters and swept all NPP supporters into the sea? Some of you see Mahama as a good leader by what measurement? Mahama ended Zoomlion's contract and put the sanitation ministry under local government and who was in charge of garbage collection? How does the people dispose their garbage than dumping them into gutters during heavy rains, and did Cecilia Dapaah call for that?
Did you hear him instructing Zoomlion to go back to word after the flood had exposed his incompetence?
We are all in this and the damage of the flooding, I believe runs into billions of dollars which is an easy money for Ghana to come by, yes that is John Mahama for you.

Your obsession with Bawumia and NPP is just pathetic. For once, be realistic and objective

Go and Bring the money Cecilia Dapaah stole for sanitation before you start pointing fingers.

Why is Cecilia Dapaah not in jail despite what was said about her, and you still believe that she had stolen something from the treasury?

Excellent article. If you do economics only on paper (artificial economics) rains and flooding will expose you. A word to the wise is enough

That for 8 solid years, a government in power received money to undertake a very important and urgent national project and instead of focusing on the job and finishing it on time, the NPP government were partying and sharing the money until their 8 years mandate-window shut in their face.
IF AKUFFO ADDO HAD DONE THE NEEDFUL WITH THE MONEY GIVEN THEM, WE WON’T BE HERE DISCUSSING THIS SAD ISSUE AND TRYING TO BLAME AN 18 MONTHS YOUNG GOVERNMENT.
This article is not addressing the ACTUAL CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM.
IT IS JUST APPORTIONING BLAME FOR POLITICAL GAINS.
NB: If it is that simple and easy as you are saying, WHY DID THE AKUFFO ADDO LED NPP GOVERNMENT NOT FINISH IT?
After all they had the money.

Mahama does not think far and as a former president I'm amazed he lacks foresight. Dream long term benefit for your people not short term for the cameras. So far after nearly 20 months + 5 years of office, nothing sensible has emanated from Mahama's term in office of any significance. Of what use for example are these markets being put up all over the place, such useless enterprise. These monies could have been used to improve or upgrade satellite markets to house street hawkers. No common sense.
