At a time when nations are focusing on innovation, industrialization, education, technology, and economic transformation, it is worrying that some minds in Ghana remain trapped in recycling political bitterness from decades ago. No serious country develops by constantly reopening old political wounds for partisan advantage.
I do not support coups in any form, because they undermine democracy and national stability. But endlessly weaponizing history without offering solutions to today’s economic hardships, unemployment, corruption, education challenges, and declining public trust does not help Ghana move forward. It only deepens division and distracts citizens from the urgent task of national development.
A country cannot build its future while emotionally imprisoned by its past. True patriotism is not about reviving anger; it is about inspiring hope, unity, accountability, productivity, and progress. Ghana needs ideas that strengthen the economy and unite the people — not narratives that keep reopening political scars for political gain.
Sometimes one wonders whether such publications genuinely seek national healing or are simply another political tool that risks weakening the country further. Ghana deserves better.

@Asiedu, Massa, mo ne kasa! Revolutions do not happen in a vacuum. It happened in England, France, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania etc. Trouble is: people like K Badu, Okoampa Ahoofe, Adjei Sarfo etc are not bothered about how venal Ofori Atta and his utterly despicable cousin Akufo Addo robbed us.
These bunch of vile sophists are not bothered about hpw "Kalabule" thrived under useless Acheampong's regime to our collective detriment.
Frankly, these NPP bunch of greedy and sellfish bastards should relocate to Nigeria wher their brand of greed, ostentation, arrogance and self-entotlement is in vogue.Tgeur ancestors bombed Nkrumah as early as November 1955 for wining elections. They are not going to change.
Asiedu, your comment was clear, lucid and insightful, but that is not meant for people of venal K Badu's disposition..
The good news is: nobody in Ghana with an ounce of brain will ever go to the ballot box in any general election and vote for NPP to come and rob us again. Never, ever! Let K Goebbels Badu, wail, moan, whinge, Scream, Shout etc. It will get him nowhere! Cheers!

Look, those coups aren't wounds; they point to the past from which we need to learn as a people and strategize towards a better future, so if we still continue on the same paths, it is because we refuse to identify who we are.
In any case, the desecration of Ghana and the consistent loot of state assets by the NPP and it's diabolically cunning forefathers are worse than any of those coups.
