What good were our pompous slave raiding and trading chiefs to our ancestors in terms of human development? Zero!
Even when the British abolished slavery and human sacrifice in the Gold Coast in the 1830s, or own human sacrificing and slave trading Kings in Ashanti were up in arms and continued slave trading with the Portuguese, Brazilians etc until useless Prempeh 1 got his comeuppance in 1896. These are facts not rumours.
Now, what good are our chiefs today? have you not seen the effect of galamsey and the wholesale destruction of our forests and rivers under their watch? They are all useless. From Kwaku Dua to Yaa Naa to whatever. He has written Nkwaseasem and I will be glad to tell him straight to his face.Cheers!

Exactly what I was thinking. What incoherent nonsense is this? Well, let us allow him to demonstrate his madness like this otherwise he may subject us to the nakedness of his small prick

Mr. Brako,
You have articulated a position that makes more sense to many than the average African politician of the modern era, including John Mahama. Thank you.

I find it deeply unfortunate that, instead of consolidating our modest gains and deliberately building a resilient future, much of our leadership attention is directed toward seeking reparations and restitution for past injustices.
Yes, history matters—and the colonial legacy has undeniably shaped our institutions, governance structures, and socio-economic realities . But the more pressing question is this: if such reparations were to come, what systems are we truly prepared to channel them into?
Without strong, accountable, and functional institutions, any gains—no matter how significant—risk being absorbed by the same fragile structures that continue to hold us back.
Perhaps the greater urgency is not what we can claim from the past, but what we are actively building in the present to sustain the future.

How many of us were around that time, and what about today? Every continent has its history, but they have moved on.
