AS SOON AS THIS POLICEMAN WALKS AWAY FROM THE CAMERA, HE'LL BE SEEN ELSEWHERE COLLECTING BRIBES TO RENDER HIS DAILY "ACCOUNT" TO HIS BOSS IN THE OFFICE OR SLEEPING WITH UNDER-AGE SYTO GIRLS. ALL OF GHANA'S LEADERS AND ELDERS DO THAT, SO WHY WOULD THERE BE DISCIPLINE?

Strick discipline is the only way that will help put those stubborn ones on the right track. We know strictness and tough disciplinary actions has been tried and tested in our schools in the past and there is no doubt that it yielded positive results in the past. We are so quick to subscribe to the standards foreign countries who culture is so different from ours and then we end up creating more problems for ourselves. Civil society organizations are the cause of the indiscipline menace. They are the ones that pushed for reformation in our disciplinary codes in schools just because some foreign entities supported them with money to preach against what they termed "Child abuse" We were discipline in school during our time, and we came out ok. What prevent us from continuing that trajectory?

Who to blame? Blame it on the schools that refuse to enforce discipline rules when their students engage in rule-breaking, either because they do not want their schools to be in the news regarding bad-acting students, or because some of those unruly students have parents who wield influence on school administrators; and blame it also on the few parents who are always quick to defend their undisciplined children (most parents will never tolerate their children acting ill-disciplined at school). Schools must report acts of students are deemed criminal to the Police, and the student should also suffer lengthy suspension as well or, in severe cases, expulsion. Students should be at school learning and having a good time instead of acting like criminals or tormenting their fellow students.
