A conflict that would almost immediately impact not only Africa but the whole world is CONFLICT IN THE MIDDLE EAST INVOLVING ON THE ONE HAND IRAN (WITH CHINA AND RUSSIAN HELPING IN THE BACKGROUND) ON THE OTHER HAND THE USA AND ISRAEL. Ghanaians living in most of the Middle East need to take another hard look at their situation and prepare for the real possibility that they could be caught up in any major conflict in the region. Escape from the region could in a worst-case scenario be very difficult and complicated.
ALL OUT WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST THAT QUICKLY BECAME REGIONAL WOULD ELY SEVERELY AFFECT THE GLOBAL ECONOMY (CAUSE A SHARP DROP IN GLOBAL STOCK MARKETS, SHARP RISE IN THE PRICE OF OIL AND GAS AND A SHARP INCREASE IN THE PRICE OF "SAFE-HAVEN" ASSETS SUCH AS PRECIOUS METALS AFTER AN INTIAL SHORT-LIVED FALL IN THE CASE OF THE LATTER)
Technology has closed the gap between many nations to such an extent that even powerful military nations could take very severe losses during conflicts with much lesser military powers. ALL SURFACE SHIPS WOULD BE SITTING DUCKS.
The outcome of the Ukraine war bar a miracle of sorts is already being decided on the battlefield and its impact on Africa is far less in the face of the growing crisis in the Middle East.
