Is it the first time the IEAs is reporting in this country. Is this the time you realized the IEAs report does it feed families or you now wake up from your drunkenness. Or in the past the IEAs report fed families

Thank you for the article.
To begin with, the responsibility for publishing the inflation rate lies with the Government Statistician, not the Finance Minister. When the inflation rate is quoted as 3.5%, it means that prices of goods and services are generally rising more slowly, not that prices are falling.
You also mentioned that food and other item prices are rising, but this claim was not supported with data.
I am not in favor of praising any government for simply doing what it is supposed to do. However, the reality is that the performance of the previous government was so poor that it makes the current administration appear world-class by comparison.
This is the brutal truth, and I believe it explains why many people now feel a sense of hope where there was previously none, with the expectation that conditions in the country will improve.
If Ghanaians, in general, have refused to reduce the prices of goods despite reductions in input costs, it only confirms our tendency toward profiteering. Take bread as an example: the prices of flour and margarine have declined, yet the price of bread remains at levels seen during the COVID period and the height of the Russia–Ukraine war. Similarly, consider canned malt. A box of 24 cans produced in Ghana is more expensive than one imported from Nigeria. That, unfortunately, reflects our own pricing behavior.
The IEA made its full findings publicly available. It cannot be held responsible if people choose to highlight only selected aspects of the report while ignoring others.

The people at IEA are not NDC sympathisers to come out with such a report to whitewash the president.

Mr Isaac Ofori, the Tutor, thank you very much for sharing your opinion on national issues. However, one issue you got it wrong is the interpretation of inflation. Please, take time to read more about inflation to understand what it actually means. A drop in inflation does not mean the prices of goods are dropping. Thank you for the attention.

We can only pray that the author teaches his students the rights.
Many people just do NOT understand what inflation is, period!
