Lol, so u want to teach the readers about asante traditions and customs because your chief kumase tradition council is being lambasted for his stands on excluding women from the house of chiefs. You are hear playing sergio ramos because the damage is already done. If asante understands akan traditions and customs as indicated, like u said the queen sanctions the enstoolment and distoolment of a chief then what changed in offinso when the queen wanted to choose who she sees fit from ankookode3ase?? also, why doesnt a nonfa royal from sampa who lives in manhyia wants to impose a non roya to be enstool as chief in sampa when they already have their won royal as chief, approved by the queen and king makers???? same thing applies to berekum when the queen's choice was rejected as kumasehene was seen saying, he can accept or reject based on ones beauty..wei. but when questions are asked, you cite ur customs and traditions in defense but the very ones from others you directly step on...isnt this a pick and choose of customs and traditions. hypocrisy at best smh

Otumfuo did not oppose the inclusion of queen mothers at national house of chiefs.....He said they should keep it there because the traditions are different and the asante one will not allow that.
In the case of Offinso...there were oaths said and feuding factions and he only came in to resolve and call the queen mothers several times to appear before asanteman council meetings and privately as well to listen to her but the queen mother chose not to come hence the king makers electing the offinso chief.
In the case of sampa, the queen mother and chief died within one year and hence she was not there to elect the chief. The two gates who were seeking to occupy the sampa stool came to manhyia and resolved their matter. It was later that the samodua guy came to join claiming one of the past chief's of sampa was his line. Indeed it was true but the chief per the was not the direct line of the original sampa chief line. Samodua grand uncle was tapped when there was not a goof candidate for the sampa stool at that time to continue their cases. That does not give samodua the right to the stool. Do not be mischevious bro and be respectful even though your guy KK Sarpong could not make. Otumfuo made a call KK could have sort help and have his matters resolved behind the scenes even before the offinso issue degenerated into all the banters
