This chorus of "this is not Ghana", "This is done by foreigners", Has been heard before. Remember when the Chinese were the ones being blamed for Galamsey? Now, it has gotten ut of control and we all know that it is a Ghanaian problem. Remember when we used to heckle the Nigerians for being the prostitutes? Until Moesha went on CNN to dance naked. That died down for a bit, now we have gone back to it again.
Rather than keep blaming other for our vices, we would just be posting the evil day.
Anything a foreigner does illegally in this country, he/she has a local collaborator or accomplice. Those are the real traitors.
If you go to Rwanda, getting a local to help you with anything illegal is almost impossible. besides the fact that there are severe legal consequences, their patriotism isn't just lip service.
Remember when Seidu was arrested for killing the two Canadian women? Nothing came out that case. He is rather seen around influential people in Ghana today.
The way you also added trafficking to kidnapping in your title is just mischievous, trying to muddle the two topics together. Even though, you know they are different issues. Traffickers usually brainwash people from their own country to migrate to other countries with the promise of gold and better lives. Lots of Ghanaians are being trafficked daily to the gulf states for menial jobs and the promise of oil money. Traffickers don't kill their victims cos that is their source of income and the need their victims to give them good reviews to others so that they can get more victims.
Kidnapping is the opposite, forceful taking, demand for ransom, even killing to prove a point.
Let's just admit it, the world is becoming more vile and dangerous by the day, it has got nothing to Nationality or race.
My point being, let's look inward and reflect deeply on the values Ghanaians are adopting. The morals that are running our society. The evil thirst for sudden wealth, etc. The foreigners can be gotten rid of in one day, if we mean business. Will that change our values and desires?

Of course it is a result of carefree governance,...you allow Nigerians to have their way in the country, look at the influx of Chinese people in the country doing whatever they want. Look at this Igbo man who says he is a King,....we allow foolishness to fester in our country and then it reaches a criminal point,...and that's where we are,...we are at the point were the harvest of criminality is upon the nation. We are too nice, and too weak a people, our leaders are week and impotent, they have no bite. The country is shambolic!!!

Yes, deal with foreign bad actors, but Ghana's biggest problem is the lax ENFORCEMENT of its laws. The country needs bold and unflinching leaders who are VERY TOUGH on crime and don't tolerate any form of begging or favors to skirt consequences for breaking the law. The nation needs LEADERS who will hold EVERYONE within Ghana's borders accountable without fear or favor. When that happens, the criminals will flee from the country whether they are foreign or indigenes. It will lead to a safer environment to encourage more investment and general welfare of the people. It is the lack of serious punishment for crimes that heavily hampers the development of most African countries.

This is a bit rich coming from the man who is responsible for internal security in Ghana. Are you for real? Who gives resident permits to foreigners in Ghana? The minister of interior. Is he legally obliged to give resident permit to any Nigerian or Ecowas national who comes to Ghana? No! We. the citizens of Ghana actually want the resident permit or naturalisation papers of Chukwu Jude revoked. Yet, all we get from your govt is the proverbial "Two Fingers" Who gives licence to gun holders in Ghana? Minister of interior. What stops your govt from introducing a new law banning assault rifles and other dangerous guns from getting into the hands of ordinary citizens? Now, what stops you from getting the military going to a place like Bawku and doing a house to house search about gun ownership in that area?. Please, Hon Muntaka, do not "rub it in" because we are so pissed off with the inaction by your govt over Nigerians in Ghana, you will definitely see our collective anger when we slash your govt majority in the next election. Are there any natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunami, famine, drought, biblical scale floods happenning in Nigeria? No! By 2050, per UN prediction, Nigeria will have a population of 400 million. Do you , as a politician want 10 million lawless and reckless Nigerians living in Ghana? Trust me, you cannot even imagine our anger towards your govt. If you do not take decisive action against Chukwu Jude and other Nigerians making our lives hell on our own land, we will target your seat at Asawase and kick you out as KT Hammond.
You can act or you can take us for fools. Thanks for your time!
