These experience, should rather energize us to work hard to ease ourselves from those who put us through such inhumane treatment. Instead, we are making some unpardonable mistakes which is pushing us towards the same human who stood on our neck and telling us to swallow a morsel of "Fufu".
While we are lamenting on the scars of "Slavery and its aftermath", the Native Americans are also going through some experience which I think is worse than ours because they are facing "Extinction" on their own land.
It is about time we should see the "White man" as a leech than another specie that one should live next door.

Who sold the slaves to the whites?
Start with the chiefs at the time who sold their own people. They are the wicked ones.

We heard President Akufo-Addo make this useless cry for reparations for African countries, and now President Mahama has taken his turn regurgitating the same cry for reparations. It's strange that African political leaders are always quick to heap blame on the evils of the African slave trade on European and American slave traders, but never ever mentioning that complicity of African chiefs and unscrupulous traders. Had Africans not approached European merchants with offers to trade their captured enemies for European guns, ammunition, liquor and cloth. This offer by African chiefs to trade captured their captured enemies for goodies gave the Europeans the idea that they could take these captured Africans overseas to be sold as slaves, far from their homes. African political leaders will best for their citizens by stemming the tide of corruption and incompetence, and there will be enough funds to projects that benefit citizens. Any reparations, if given, in the form of money will only end up in the pockets of African thieving politicians and their crookled cronies. The ones that deserve any reparations are the descendants of slaves in the Americas, the Caribbean islands and some European countries. Even then, it's problematic determining how any reparations can be parceled out to the millions of descendants of slaves in those countries. Time to talk about Africa's dirty hands in the slave trade instead of making empty noise for reparations.
