  This has been my concern all along. Unfortunately, its not only in Ghana, but in almost every country that capitalism has touched. As someone working in the sustainability sector, i find it quite sad, how far and how fast we are sinking as a nation, starting from the Top.

  You have made excellent review of the systemic problems not only in Ghana but other African countries. There can be no solutions until the very selfish culture within the society changes. It will only change if there are significant consequences for corruption. Unfortunately, religious leaders will block any attempt to jail leaders...The up and coming generation (gen z) is worse when it comes to corruption... so essentially we may have no future.

We have our own destiny as a nation, and I believe we can make the change that the young generations and the ones yet unborn will be proud of us..... the situation is Nepal speak of the evidence of broken trust and lack of social cohesion. May we not reach there as a nation.
