  Thank you for this is an eye opener must read article. All Ghanaians must wake up against illegal mining it is destroying our environment and depleting our ecosystems. What is this stupidity mindset of our leaders who are using the destruction of our environment to gain political prowess. Shame! shame!! and shame!!! to all of us Ghanaians. We are all looking on to the total destruction of our rich environment. Arise and educate each other that is the only way we can put an end galamsey.

  Can't stop galamsey without having a blueprint on ending it. Merely having some politician leading a few security officials to galamsey sites to seize excavators is joke. With a proper blueprint on ending this menace, the task can be accomplished in less than six months.
