I am not old enough to have seen, but my father tells me that a few years ago an outgone president declared a year of roads. Where is the evidence?

We see these sadness all around us. We must take action by resetting our minds. People have already sold their conscience to Politicians by collecting money and goods before voting, thereby selling the whole country because of what they will eat for a day, leaving our future in shambles. What a pity. Now who pays for our shot thinking
Even ants think about their future.
People of Ghana, wake-up and work on our minds. This is madness we see all over. We must reset our minds and do the needful. Tomorrow will surely come if we do not make preparation for it today.

Far too many roads in the country=have become death traps. The Minister responsible for roads should meet with regional leaders to determine which roads require immediate attention and then draw up a plan on how to fund the repairs of such roads. Additionally, road contractors must be monitored to ensure that they don't cut corners by making questionable repairs. Once roads are repaired, the regional agencies should ensure that regular maintenance in these roads are carried out instead of waiting till the roads become almost impassable before asking the national government for assistance. A tax on heavy vehicles can bring some badly needed funds to fund the maintenance of roads.
