  Ok if that's the case why don't they import only those clothes that can be worn in our climate?Then reduce the quantity so that our local prints will be paronised? GH like too much freebies so we should check that one too it' ...

  I don't subscribe to the idea that the government should import used clothing, "Obroni-wawu" into the country, even though not everyone can afford to buy pricy new clothes. The government should consider the health risks associated with 'obroni-wawu' and the impact they may have on people's lives.
  I would advocate that, instead of the government spending about or more than $200 million annually to import foreign used clothing, it would be wise to use the money to set up Garment industries and stop the importation of 'obroni-wawu'.
