About Me:
1. I helped integrate girls into a polytechnic in America in 1976.
2. First female to run on a male track team in my state, 1979.
3. I was the first female to earn a Computer Engineering degree, 1983. [Electrical and Computer Engineering. I was also one of the few women at Carnegie Mellon's Robotics Institute when it opened in 1989, MS, Computer Integrated Manufacturing.]
4. First black female doctoral candidate at KSG.[Science, Technology and Public Policy]
5. First female in America to hold titles of Senior Electrical Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Scientist, Senior Aerospace Engineer, and Chief Statistician.
6. Certified by the US Department of Defense at the highest level for Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Manufacturing, 2004.
7. First female in history to "Triple Hundred" by reciting 250 digits of pi, 110 digits of e, and 110 digits of sqrt2. My blindfolded taped performance was witnessed by our Chief and Ghana's top neurologist, who asked to study my brain.
Discriminated against in Ghana not because of my vagina but because of my chosen hairstyle! Plus, I won't trade sex for advancement because I do need to.
Who treats me the worse, men or women?
Women, because I can't cook. I got tired of hearing that after I presented my academic paper at the 2019 Year of Return conference. Still can't cook, but I am about to publish a book to help Ghana, anyway.
