  They plot to engage in a lot of constructions (dual roads, though good) and new national capital city just to siphon billions of money from Ghanaians into their pockets by excessive projects and contracts. God has already revealed the secrets of John Mahama and his appointees to me and how they plots to enrich themselves to compete the Nana Addo's criminal appointees. You will see these plots and believe that I am prophet. You need to pray against his plots for a third term. Also, if Ghanaians are smart enough, then they will end the practice of "Political Appointments" and make laws to ensure that all top government officials are elected by votes for them to choose their running mates, deputies and assistants rather than being appointed which is the root of failure by; corruption, conspiracies, slavery, poverty, thefts and briberies with many scandals of irresponsibility and no accountabilities.

These foreign intelligence are the agents of enslaving African nations, including Ghana, because they can hide behind the scenes and control your economy by using only man whose political appointments can change almost everything. This is why political is the real threat and must be avoided as a threat to a great democracy. Until political appointments are ended forever, most African nations, including Ghana and most poor nations will remain slaves.

  First of all it's not true this gained any wide spread coverage. It only came from some few NPP people, especially Afenyo Markin. His reason was that the President has nominated 7 judges to the supreme court. Also he's removing the CJ to push for that third term bid. I can tell you on authority that this came from about 3 NPP people. This shouldn't formed your basis for this write up at all in my opinion. Do you remember last year before the elections, some people started saying the out gone president wanted to hang on to power. Meanwhile there were no basis for that. If you want to educate us on what the constitution say about it, pls do that and stop this rumour mongering.

I am not sure Ghanaians will vote yes on referendum to amend the constitution for Mahama to go for third term. They need 75% of Ghanaians to vote yes and that is very highly unattainable.

The most important thing is about the development of our dear nation, if he is a good leader, Ghanaians will decide, whether 100 years in power or 4 years in power, it's all about development.   Your fourth paragraph begins as 'since assuming office, his administration has taken bold steps to address key economic challenges.... ' and you sighted the appreciation of the cedi against the dollar as a key example of the current administration achievement. Mr Mahama himself has attributed the cedi's gains to dollar reserves, whilst some of his appointees relate it to Goldbod formation as the game changer. The dollar 'reserves' simply means that these are reserves left by the previous govt and it's basic knowledge that no govt can create enough for example reserves in just four months to support such impressive gains by its local currency. It's also been widely confirmed by JoyNews and goes unchallenged that the Mahama govt hasn't added up to a tonne of gold to the over 30 tonnes bullion reserves left by the Akufo-Addo administration.
  
  Can you therefore give us some of those 'bold steps' taken by Mahama govt that's giving the cedi the level of appreciation we're seeing? Also, to what extent will you admit to the cedi's gains being partly due to the weakening dollar thanks to Trump's trade wars, aside the dollar and gold reserves left by the previous govt? I just want to be educated as a student of the Ghanaian economy.
  
  For the rumours of Mr Mahama's third term bid, I wish to advise those who may be plotting that undemocratic and potentially nation-wrecking move to stop it if it's true before it destroys Ghana. A third, a fourth or even a lifetime presidency of Mr Mahama and for that matter of any person won't change Ghana in any significant way. Rawlings 19 years rule, virtually all of which were without political opposition didn't change Ghana in any way. At the end of it, we were left without state industries/factories and private ones alike which we had when he came onto the scene. Our universities which were not charging fees when he came were doing so when he left. These don't mean he hadn't done anything for Ghana. He did what he could do but not all, and our challenges would still be as they are today if he were still president. So Mr Mahama should also just do his best and leave the scene when his time comes.
