  I am having problems seeing how the Atia song, that was disliked by the Northerners because they rightfully saw it as denigrating their culture, could be referring to JM'S ORAL implementation without being seen as disrespectful to JM. The author must be praised for the high quality writing but blamed for his choice of the Atia music to refer to how the Elephants are reacting to ORAL especially with the knowledge that Northers did not find it funny then and will not now.
